Cinema Today posted the teaser trailer of the upcoming Sadako 3D 2 movie. This movie is the sequel to last year's Sadako 3D. Miori Takimoto joins the cast as the film's new female protagonist.
The sequel takes place several years after the events of Sadako 3D, this movie will reveal the connection of the earlier Ring movies, as well as the true intentions of the resurrected Sadako. The movie will also introduce us to a girl who inherited Sadako's genes.
Koji Seto (Kamen Rider Kiva) returns in this movie. Aside from Takimoto, Kokoro Hirasawa (Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters) also joins the cast of the said movie. Koji Suzuki, the author of the original Ring novel series will once again, write the sequel film. Tsutomu Hanabusa is back to return to direct the movie sequel.
Sadako 3D 2 is filmed entirely in stereoscopic 3D and is set to premiere in Japan this August 30.
