Ultraman Ginga Stars in New Ultraman Retsuden

Meet the new Ultraman, his name is Ultraman Ginga and he will star in a new TV show called New Ultraman Retsuden. Unlike the first Ultraman Retsuden, it will feature new footage and new characters!

The premise of the series is that long time ago in outer space, a certain evil caused all Ultra heroes and giant monsters to turn into small dolls. These dolls were scattered all over the universe, until they arrived on Earth through a meteor shower.

In the present time, a 17 year-old high school student named Hikaru Raidou (played by Takuya Negishi) finds the Ginga Spark, which allows him to help the dolls revert into their true form. With the Ginga Spark, he can "UltraLive" to merge with the dolls and transform into Ultraman Ginga! Because of his age, he is the youngest Ultra hero!

Joining Ultraman Ginga in his quest to fight evil threats are his childhood friends, Misuzu Isurugi (played by Mio Miyatake), Kenta Watarai (played by Mizuki Ono) and Chigusa Kuno (played by Kirara). Since this is high school, Hikaru has a rival in the form of Tomoya Ichijoji (played by Takuya Kusakawa) and he is a cool, mysterious transfer student.

Directed by Yuichi Abe, Tomo Haraguchi, Kengo Kaji and Yoshikazu Ishi, New Ultraman Retsuden is separated into two parts. Part 1 called "Summer Break" is composed of episodes 1-6 and Part 2 will be the Holiday season and is composed of episodes 7-11, and it will air from November to December.
