Junichi Masuda, the director of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y appeared in this year's Pokémon World Championships in Vancouver, Canada and revealed the latest Pokémon Mega Evolution!
The new Mega Evolution is Mega Kangaskhan and it has the ability called "Parental Bond". With this ability, Mega Kangaskhan allows its attacks to hit twice in one turn. Below is a video of its unveiling taken from the said event courtesy of Nugget Bridge:
In the game, Mega Evolution can be achieved using items called Mega Stones. Mega Stones are special stones that exist for all Pokémon that can Mega Evolve, each named after the Pokémon to which it grants power. Sadly, Pokémon can only Mega Evolve during battle.
Pokémon X and Pokémon Y will be released worldwide for the Nintendo 3DS in both retail and on the Nintendo eShop starting this October 12th. Pre-orders are now available via Play-Asia. You can start pre-ordering by clicking the links found below.
