In a recent survey conducted by Japanese business market research company Neo Marketing revealed the top 17 anime titles they would like to recommend to foreigners. The survey asked 500 Japanese people between the ages of 20 and 69.
The 17 anime titles were picked by the respondents and they are allowed to pick multiple choices in this question. The top 17 results are:

2. Sazaesan (40%)
3. Dragon Ball series (29.0%)
4. One Piece (25.0%)
5. Chibi Maruko-chan (22.6%)
6. Mobile Suit Gundam series (19.8%)
