Toei Company, Ltd. and TV Asahi teamed up once again to create an "Action-Fantasy Heroine Movie" called "Innocent Lilies". The movie stars the 6 members of geek idol group, DEMPAGUMI.inc.
The movie's premise is about innocent girls who are left suffering with broken hearts until they met a legendary White Witch. Said witch was once a girl, who was deeply hurt and experienced a never ending pain. Because of this, she acquired the power of witchcraft.
Written by Reiko Yoshida (K-ON!, Girls und Panzer) and directed by Koichi Sakamoto (Kamen Rider W, Power Rangers), the upcoming movie will feature breathtaking action scenes, a variety of moe scenes but most importantly, they created a world that brings a perspective of a "reality within unreality".
Aside from the members of DEMPAGUMI.inc composed of: Risa Aizawa, Mirin Furukawa, Nemu Yumemi, Eimi Naruse, Moga Mogami, and Ayane Fujisaki, the movie also stars the following actresses: Arisa Komiya (Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters), Kasumi Yamaya (Kamen Rider Movie Wars Ultimatum), Hikari Takara (Sadako 3D, GTO 2012), Sae Shiraishi, Yuu Aikawa, and Hoka.
Innocent Lilies will have a limited movie theatre release in Japan starting this September 21st.
