The first photo of Takeru Satoh as Kenshin Himura in the set of the two upcoming live-action Rurouni Kenshin movies that will air next year was posted in his official staff website.
The filming for the movies began this month as the official casting site posted casting calls for extras. The upcoming movie will cover the Kyoto Arc with actor Tatsuya Fujiwara (Battle Royale, Death Note) joining the cast of the movies as the evil Makoto Shishio.
The two upcoming Rurouni Kenshin movies entitled "Rurouni Kenshin: The Great Kyoto Fire Arc" and "Rurouni Kenshin: The End of a Legend Arc" are both slated to have summer 2014 release.
