Nintendo began streaming the overview trailer and television commercials for the upcoming sequel to the fifth generation Pokemon game, Pokemon Black Version 2 and White Version 2 for the Nintendo DS.
Taking place two years after the end of the original Pokemon Black and White games, it features the map of Unova being partially frozen with new areas added, including Hiougi City, where the player begins his journey.
In addition, Nintendo also posted a trailer for “Pokemon AR Searcher”, an augmented reality game for Nintendo 3DS that lets you capture Pokemon around real environments. Pokemon captured using the application can be transferred to Pokemon Black Version 2 and White Version 2.
The Japanese version of Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2 will be released for the Nintendo DS on June 23rd while the North American release will be on October 2012. Meanwhile, Pokemon AR Searcher will be available for download in Japan on June 23rd for 300 yen ($4), and will make its way to North America in the fall.
