DX Fourze Driver Won 2011 Hit Sales Award in Japan Toy Awards 2012
With all those toys with tie-in shows, we can't deny that Bandai is one of of the most popular and highest earning toy company in Japan in the past few years! And just recently, their DX Kamen Rider Fourze Driver won the "HIT SALES" Award!
Being sought after by kids and adults alike, it is best remembered that Japan once got a shortage of the DX Fourze Driver before the Christmas of 2011 arrives. The henshin item costs 6,825 yen.
On the other hand, the Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters' Buster Machine CB-01 DX Go-buster Ace and the other toys in the Buster Machine series received the first prize in the character toy category. It costs 5,040 yen.
Furthermore, the merchandise of the early morning magical girl anime Smile PreCure's transformation device "Smile Pact" received the first prize in the girl's toy category. It costs 3,675 yen.
The winners were chosen by the Japan Toy Association for the fifth annual Japan Toy Award at Tokyo Kokusai Forum on June 12th. The association received 397 applications from 40 toy companies in Japan this year, and a group of 21 judges from the Japanese toy industry and the media selected the winners.
