DX Soul of Chogokin Mazinger Z Celebrates Anime's 40th Anniversary
To celebrate the anime's 40th anniversary and the toy line's 15th anniversary, Bandai Tamashii Nations had announced the upcoming release of DX Soul of Chogokin Mazinger Z. It is the latest figure inspired by Go Nagai's Mazinger Z manga and anime.

The DX Soul of Chogokin Mazinger Z stands 300mm tall, twice as tall as the previous releases! The inner mechanics of Mazinger Z are replicated in fine details. The front armor plates can be removed to expose everything.

The arms contain Drill Missiles, and the joint and nozzle for the rocket punch also appear in the elbow design. Hydraulic cylinders in the feet move according to the figure's pose. LED lights in the head mimic the story robot's activation sequence and firing of the Photon Beams, while LEDs inside the breastplates simulate the Breast Fire attack.

The detailed display hangar features spotlights and cranes. The figure is made of die-cast Zinc as well as ABS and PVC plastics. The complete set includes a wireless remote for the figure's lights and sounds feature including Kouji Kabuto's voice and the anime's theme song!

DX Soul of Chogokin Mazinger Z costs 36,750 yen and scheduled for December release.
