The official blog for the unofficial Super Sentai series, Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger confirms that it will run for 13 episodes, as contrary to the previous assumptions that it will run for just a quarter of a year with at least 12 episodes.
The 13th episode is said to be an extra episode financed by Tokyo MX, the station that broadcasts the Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger episodes. This episode is a recap episode with a look on the show's behind the scenes.
