Manga News reports that the much awaited Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin, the manga retelling of the original Mobile Suit Gundam TV anime series by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko is set for an anime adaptation by Sunrise next year!
The original manga is the re-imagining of the very first Mobile Suit Gundam anime except some few minor additions such as the rise of Zeon, a more detailed look on Char's backstory and the development of the Mobile Suits while retaining the same story and events that happened in the original anime.
