Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger 27 – Dance, KyoryuRed Carnival!

Gabutyra-Man is still running wild and our heroes try their best to catch him. Meanwhile, Endorf creates his first two monsters because he also wants to capture Gabutyra-Man! As for Gabutyra himself, he is worried about his partner that he also wants to find him.

For an episode focused on King, he barely has any screen time in it till the second half of the episode. For most part, he is acting like a feral creature as Gabutyra-Man and some of his actions are based on his instinct, which makes him more unpredictable. This is when Ian comes in, since he is the team's temporary leader, he finds ways on how they can capture King and the opening minutes of the episode showed us one of their failed attempts. It is also thanks to him that Yayoi figured out what went wrong with the Gabutyra +1 Battery. Lastly, he also asked Utchy to distract the Deboth Legion on their hunt of Gabutyra-Man.

As for the rest of the team, while Yayoi is busy finding out what went wrong with the Beast Battery, the rest of the team are searching for Gabutyra-Man. Along the way, they ended up fighting Endorf's men, who are so competent that one of the things they did is to seal their ability to transform, this then lead us to the out of suit fights in this episode. The out of suit fights are really impressive, the camera work to make these fights look really realistic is one of the things that I like about it. My major disappointment about it is their failure to hide the stunt doubles. Seriously, I can notice that Amy's stunt double is wearing skin tone stockings.

Gabutyra-Man later appeared and thankfully, Ian arrived just in time to save him. Sadly, his ability to transform is sealed and the bad guys are really close in capturing King. Lucky enough, Ian thought of a perfect distraction and boy, this distraction is seriously fun to watch. What's fun about the distraction are the references it made, it made reference to the two ninja Super Sentai teams and it didn't help that one of the voices of Endorf's henchmen is performed by Ninja Blue Saizou's actor! Now that Gabutyra-Man managed to escape thanks to this distraction, it is time for Torin to do his part.

What Torin did in this episode is free King out of the Gabutyra-Man persona and his plan is seriously risky that it affected his body. Now that King is free from the Gabutyra-Man persona, it is time for him to help his friends... only to end up having his Gaburevolver sealed. With his Gaburevolver sealed, he fights the foot soldiers in his civilian mode but before that, he must rip his shirt off. To be honest, that scene is totally pointless and it feels like it's just there so that they can pander on to the show's other target demographic, the housewives and the teenage girls who are watching the show for the guys.

King's civilian fight scene in this episode is really, really great. Yayoi later joins the battle and tells King that the purpose of the +1 Beast Battery is for Gabutyra to help him outside of the giant fights. This scene reiterates the idea that the Voltasaurs are sentient beings and that they have emotions. Back to Yayoi, her civilian fight scene in this episode is really, really good and unlike in Amy's case, they were able to hide her stunt double quite properly that I didn't notice her.

After King throws the +1 Beast Battery to Gabutyra, he transforms into Minityra, aiding him in battle by destroying the seal. And with that, he transforms into KyoryuRed Carnival! KyoryuRed Carnival's suit design is too wild and too flashy, which is perfect since the name of this form is KyoryuRed Carnival. As for this form's set of skills, just like how I described the suit, it's also wild and flashy. So wild and flashy that one of its moves has something to do with Carnival's chest plate becoming Gabutyra's mouth just to chomp the enemy!

Now for the finisher, it's your typical combined cannon finisher except it is flashier. Now that we are done with the MOTW, it's time for the giant battle. I have nothing much to say about it, except that the MOTW made a Dekaranger reference. To put it simply, the MOTW is voiced by a Dekaranger cast member, to be specific; his voice actor is the guy who played Senichi "Sen-chan" Eniri aka DekaGreen! At the end of the episode, we learned that Chaos has other plans for Endorf and it has something to do with Torin.
