Robin Williams Talks About Anime in Reddit AMA Thread

As we all know, Robin Williams is quite a geek that he even named his daughter Zelda from The Legend of Zelda's Princess Zelda! In his recent AMA (Ask Me Anything) thread in Reddit, we learned what anime shows/movies that he watched and enjoyed.

Williams is a big fan of Ghost In A Shell and wants to play Chief Aramaki if there's a chance that there's a live-action movie adaptation of the said anime. He is also a fan of Neon Genesis Evangelion, Akira, Blood: The Last Vampire and Cowboy Bebop.

One fan asked if he watched Fullmetal Alchemist, in which he replied that he might have a copy of the series but didn't have the chance to watch it yet. Lastly, one fan asked how he got into anime, and here's his reply:

There was a shop in San Francisco that sold laserdisks - that's how far back it goes - and then later on I found a wonderful bookstore in San Francisco called Green Apple that would sell DVDS of Anime shows.
