Latest Oldboy (2013) Live-Action Movie Adaptation Trailer

Here's the latest trailer for the latest live-action movie adaptation of Garon Tsuchiya and Nobuaki Minegishi's Oldboy manga. This provocative, visceral thriller stars Josh Brolin as Joe Doucett, the film's main protagonist.

In addition, the movie has an official Tumblr account, which features posters inspired by the main protagonist's life during his 20 years in captivity.

Advertising executive Joe Doucett is abruptly kidnapped and held hostage for 20 years in solitary confinement. When he is inexplicably released, he embarks on an obsessive mission to discover who orchestrated his bizarre and torturous punishment only to find he is still trapped in a web of conspiracy and torment.

The movie also stars Elizabeth Olsen, Sharlto Copley and Samuel L. Jackson. Oldboy is directed by Spike Lee (Malcolm X) with screenplay Mark Protosevich (I Am Legend, The Cell, Thor) and is set to be released this October 25th.
