Aniplex started streaming two new promos for the upcoming anime adaptation of Hiromu Arakawa's Silver Spoon manga. The said series will premiere this July in Fuji TV's Noitamina block.
Silver Spoon is about a bright student named Yugo Hachiken who schemes to get away from his family by enrolling in an agricultural school that requires students to reside in its dorms, only to find it more work than he had envisioned.
A-1 Pictures is animating the upcoming anime series, which is directed by Tomohiko Ito (Sword Art Online) with assistant director Kotomi Deai. Taku Kishimoto (Bunny Drop) is writing the scripts, while Jun Nakai (Mardock Scramble films) is serving as character designer and chief animation director. Shusei Murai (Allison & Lillia, Aiura) is scoring the music.
