It was announced during the Jump Festa event that the next Naruto movie project will launch in 2014. More details about the new film will be included in future issues of Weekly Shonen Jump.
This is the first time the Naruto film series had a year break in releasing a new movie. The 9th movie, Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie opened in Japan on July 28th and is currently the highest grossing film in the franchise.
