It is the third "ultimate dating fantasy game" inspired by the all-female idol group AKB48, where the player can choose one of the members after each one confesses her love.
“AKB1/153 Renai Sōsenkyo” features 153 members of the idol group, compared to the previous roster of 48, including members of AKB48 sister groups SKE48, NMB48, and HKT48.
