Being Koyomi is suffering.
Koyomi seems to be recovering after what happened in the previous episode... but as it turns out, it's quite the opposite. Because of this, Koyomi is looking for a way to cure herself without the help coming from Haruto and friends, thus leading her to Sora.
The attempt to give Kamen Rider Wizard one strong and cohesive story for its final arc is working. The focus of the episode is not the Phantom plot since it was just there so that they will have a Phantom for the arc. The main focus of the episode is Koyomi and her struggle to hide the fact that she is suffering from some magical scar that she acquired for some reason. This connects to the plot left hanging in the previous story arc, making the previous episodes connected into a single narrative.
So how the heck Sora ended up getting involved in this one? As it turns out that he might know a way to cure Koyomi and her magical scar. By a way, I mean he kinda discovered what Koyomi’s purpose is the entire time. Even though he doesn't say it, his sudden interest with Koyomi's current status is a hint on what he knows about Koyomi's purpose this entire time aside from being a doll. This then lead us to his fight with the White Wizard, which is really amazing. I just love how the White Wizard dominates the fight; it's like seeing an angry father who doesn't want people to touch his beloved daughter.
After he is done defeating Sora, he thanks Haruto for taking care of his daughter before leaving, thus ending the episode. But what about the other stuff that happened in this episode like the Phantom plot and other subplots that might be relevant in later episodes? So here, I will start talking about it. First is with Mayu, her guilt that she can't defeat Medusa is seen here and wants some new power-ups coming from the White Wizard. But he needs something so that he can give the new Ring to Mayu. The mystery here is what the White Wizard needs in exchange for the new Ring. Guess we will find out in the next episode.
Next is the Phantom side plot, the Gate for this week is a father and by the looks of it, he will have a baby any time soon with his wife. This where Beast comes in and fights the Phantom. Nothing much happened in this part of the episode aside from the fact that Medusa is quite involved in this one and the one who kinda figured out what to do next just in case the Phantom will fail. That's all the side plots I can talk about this episode and hopefully, they can resolve all of this in the next episode.
