The official website for the Rurouni Kenshin anime franchise began streaming the latest promo for the second of the two part OVA of the upcoming Rurouni Kenshin New Kyoto Arc will be shown in 10 Japanese theaters for three weeks beginning on June 23rd.
Rurouni Kenshin New Kyoto Arc is the remake the Kyoto Arc which was first seen in the original anime series. This depicts the battle of Kenshin Himura and Makoto Shishio and is told from the point of view of Misao Makimachi.
It is is part of the anime series' 15th Anniversary along with the video game and the upcoming live-action movie which stars Takeru Satoh and Emi Takei.
