Majestic Prince Mecha Anime Premieres this April!


More details about the upcoming mecha anime "Ginga Kikotai Majestic Prince" has surfaced online! The anime will feature voices from Hiroaki Aiba (Shinkenger) and Junya Ikeda (Gokaiger).

Based on the manga by Rando Ayamine and Hikaru Niijima, the story follows humanity after it expanded its frontier into space in a quest for resources. Advances in genetic engineering research allow humans to adapt to the new frontier, leading to the advent of evolved children such as the protagonist Izuru (Aiba). Izuru enrolls in an academy city called Gurantseere to fulfill his mission of "protecting humanity."

The anime will feature the voices of Hiroaki Aiba (Samurai Sentai Shinkenger) as the protagonist Izuru Hitachi, Junya Ikeda (Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger) as Ataru Suruga, Shintarō Asanuma (Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's) as Toshikazu Asagi, Yōko Hikasa (K-ON!) as Kei Kugimiya and Yuka Iguchi (Mayo Chiki) as Tamaki Irie.

The series will premiere this April 4th at 10:30 pm on Tokyo MX and is said to run for 24 episodes.
