S.H. FiguArts Tricera Ranger Coming Soon

The latest issue of Figure-oh revealed that S.H. FiguArts Tricera Ranger is coming very soon. Sadly, the first scan we have didn't have a proper shot of the announcement.

The only clear info we have about this figure is that aside from the obligatory interchangeable hands and Ranger Stick, S.H. FiguArts Tricera Ranger also comes with the Tricera Lance in it's two modes. The Tricera Lance can combine with the other S.H. FiguArts size Zyuranger weapons to form the Howling Cannon.

More information such as the release date and the price once we have a better scan of the item.

Latest Ressha Sentai Tokkyuger Images Revealed

New images of Ressha Sentai Tokkyuger has surfaced online, which gave us a better look on the hero suits and the team's main mecha.

Unlike the past Super Sentai teams before them, instead of using colors, they use numbers. The Tokkyugers are: Tokkyu 1 (Red), Tokkyu 2 (Blue), Tokkyu 3 (Yellow), Tokkyu 4 (Green) and Tokkyu 5 (Pink).

The protectors of the Rainbow Line, these heroes will pilot the Tokkyu-Oh, a giant mecha composed for five colorful trains piloted by our heroes. These colorful trains are: Red Resshar, Blue Resshar, Yellow Resshar, Green Resshar, and Pink Resshar.

Also seen in the scan is the team's common weapon, the Tokkyu Blaster, which transforms from "Uchimasu Mode" (Gun) into "Kirimasu Mode" (Sword). All members are equipped with the Tokkyu Buckle and Rainbow Pass.

Aside from another shot of Tokkyu-Oh, we also have a shot of the team's transformation device, Tokkyu Changer. You need to insert a Tokkyu Resshar for them to transform. Also seen are other shots of the team's common weapon, the Tokkyu Blaster.

The series will premiere this February 16, 2014.

S.H. FiguArts Auto Vajin Robot Transformation Gimmick Revealed

Bandai Tamashii Nations posted new images of S.H. FiguArts Auto Vajin from Kamen Rider 555, which revealed that Faiz's trusty motorcycle can transform into robot mode just like in the original TV series.

Aside from the photos of Auto Vajin's robot mode, a new S.H. FiguArts Kamen Rider Faiz will be released alongside with Auto Vajin. The difference with the first version is that it also includes a Faiz Axel Brace.


As part of Kamen Rider 555's 10th anniversary celebrations, the Tamashii Web Shop Exclusive S.H. FiguArts Auto Vajin will be released in two packages, the regular edition (costs 5,400 yen) and the one bundled with the new S.H. FiguArts Kamen Rider Faiz (costs 8,356 yen).

S.H. FiguArts Auto Vajin will be released on May 2014.

Final Kill la Kill Blu-ray/DVD Volume to Include Unaired Episode

The official Kill la Kill anime website announced that the 9th/final volume of the Blu-ray/DVD will include an unaired episode.

The volume will be released on September 3, 2014 with the 24th episode and the special unaired episode. The volume will also include audio commentaries, Japanese subtitles, and a web preview video.

The limited first pressing of the volume will add a bonus making-of documentary DVD Vol. 3 disc, a case and packaging illustrated by character designer Sushio, and an exclusive book.

S.H. FiguArts Kamen Rider Shin Revealed

The first of the 90's Kamen Riders is finally having his own S.H. FiguArts! It's officially confirmed that S.H. FiguArts Kamen Rider Shin will be released in May 2014.

As seen in the scan, Shin can open his mouth and has a set of interchangeable hands for various poses. The figure costs 4,350 yen and is said to be a web shop exclusive figure.

Kamen Rider Gaim: A Better Look on the Genesis Driver's Functions

New Kamen Rider Gaim toy scans has surfaced online, which features more of the Genesis Driver and how it is compatible with the Sengoku Driver and more pictures of the Energy Riders!

As seen in the scan, the DX Genesis Driver can change color depending on what Lock Seed you decide to "juice" out. for example, if you juice the Peach Energy Lock Seed, the container at the bottom of the Lock Seed will become pink. Same goes with Lemon, Melon and Cherry Energy Lock Seeds.

Next scans has something to do with the Sengoku Driver and its compatibility with the Genesis Driver. As you can see here, you can connect the Genesis Driver with the Sengoku Driver by removing the face plate found at the right side of the Sengoku Driver. Found below is a better demonstration on how it is done.

As you can see from the scan above, the Genesis Driver slot can slide out from the main driver. While we are at it, remove the face plate found on the right side of the Sengoku Driver and connect the Genesis Driver slot. Once you are done doing it, you can now attach two Lock Seeds in one belt!

And lastly, here are some better shots of the Energy Riders, namely Kamen Riders Duke, Shin Zangetsu and Sigurd. As you have notice, the Energy Riders have their emblems emblazoned on their armor.

Clearer Images of Kamen Rider Gaim Kachidoki Lock Seed, DJ Gun

Clearer images of the two new Kamen Rider Gaim merchandise namely, the Kachidoki Lock Seed and the DJ Gun. Both of these items will be released on March 2014.

One thing that this scan made clear is that the K.L.S.-01 Kachidoki Lock Seed is Kamen Rider Gaim's new Lock Seed to become Kamen Rider Gaim Kachidoki Arms. In addition, the DJ Gun can combine with the Musou Saber to create a new weapon. The Kachidoki Lock Seed costs 2,000 yen and the DJ Gun costs 5,500 yen.

Tokkyuger: Tokkyu Buckle's Function Revealed

New images of the Ressha Sentai Tokkyuger MiniPla and soft vinyl toys has surfaced online. What's interesting is that one of those images feature how the Tokkyu Buckle works.

As seen in the image found above, similar to how Kyoryuger's Zyuden Buckle works, the Tokkyu Buckle can carry the team's mecha called Ressha. It is revealed that the buckle can carry at least 2 Ressha. It is unknown how much the DX Tokkyu Buckle can carry.

A new line of mini-replicas called "Eternal Masterpiece" is finally announced. First on the list of mini-replicas is the Asuna's Lambent Light from Sword Art Online.

Want to get your hands on Ryuko Matoi's red scissor blade from Kill la Kill? Here's some good news, a Japanese anime and manga retailer is offering it as a prize to customers!

The retailer, Toranoana will be giving away this life-size red scissor blade to five customers who have bought the entire Kill la Kill Blu-ray or DVD set. The blades will be distributed by lottery. Seen on the right is a sample of one of those blades.

In addition, customers of the Kill la Kill Blu-ray or DVD volumes 1-6 may also receive a signed folding screen as a prize although supplies are limited. The DVD set goes on sale January 8.

Disc Wars: Avengers Anime Merchandise Revealed

The first wave of figures for Bandai's new toyline based on the upcoming Disc Wars: Avengers anime is finally revealed!

The first wave of figures features Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Spider-Man and Thor. There are two sets of figures, first is the poseable figure and a disc and second is the Avengers in disc form in the upcoming TV anime series.


In the series, the Avengers (less Spider-Man) and the villains are trapped in discs thanks to Loki's machinations. For them to be unsealed in these discs, a program called "Biocode" is used.

According to Big Bad Toy Store's pre-order page, these figures are set for an April 2014 release.

DX Blood Orange Lock Seed, Bujin Gaim Latest Info Revealed

New info about the DX Blood Orange Lock Seed, which will be used by Bujin Gaim, the main antagonist of the upcoming Kamen Rider Gaim & Wizard: The Fateful Sengoku Movie Battle. The movie premieres this December 14th.

Once inserted in the Sengoku Driver, the Blood Orange Lock Seed announces "Blood Orange Arms! Janomichi On Stage!" Unlike Gaim's Japanese inspired music, Bujin Gaim's transformation music is a guitar riff.

The DX Blood Orange Lock Seed also comes with the Bujin Gaim face plate costs 1,890 yen.

Kamen Rider Gaim: Kachidoki Lock Seed, DJ Gun Revealed

New scans for new Kamen Rider Gaim merchandise has surfaced online and it has something to do with the silhouetted figure of the new Rider!

The two new merchandise are the Kachidoki Lock Seed and a new gun weapon, the DJ Gun. What's interesting is that the Kachidoki Lock Seed has the same label like the Lemon Energy Lock Seed.

The Kachidoki Lock Seed costs 2,000 yen and the DJ Gun costs 5,500 yen. Both are scheduled for a March 2014 release.

Kamen Rider Gaim Armored Rider Inflatable Toy Weapons Revealed

Bandai will release inflatable toy versions of the personal weapons of the Armored Rider from Kamen Rider Gaim. These cheap alternatives to the DX toys cost 200 yen.

The Rider weapons that will receive this treatment are: Musou Saber (Gaim & Zangetsu), Daidaimaru (Gaim), Banaspear (Baron), Donkachi (Gridon) and Durinoko (Bravo).

Ultraman 6-Season DVD Box Set Announced

To commemorate the Ultraman franchise's 50th anniversary, a six-season box set will be released in the United States under the Ultraman Forever tag.

This box set contains the first six seasons of the Ultraman series. These shows are: Ultraman, Ultraseven, The Return of Ultraman (Ultraman Jack), Ultraman Ace, Ultraman Taro and Ultraman Leo.

Lupin III vs. Detective Conan Commemorative Wristwatch Announced

Imperial Enterprise will release a Lupin III vs. Detective Conan the Movie commemorative wristwatch featuring both series named "Taiketsu no Toki/Face Off" (The time for confrontation).

The watch features the silhouettes of Lupin and Conan, a gunshot mark, and handcuffs on the face, and comes with message cards written by the original creators of the series, Monkey Punch (Lupin) and Gosho Aoyama (Conan).

Only 5000 of these watches will be produced and costs 29,300 yen. This watch is set for a February 2014 release.

Ressha Sentai Tokkyuger First Quarter Toy Catalog

Just as expected, the toy catalog of the 38th Super Sentai series, Ressha Sentai Tokkyuger has surfaced online. The series will premiere this February 16, 2014.

Aside from kids, the series will also target train enthusiast. The Tokkyugers are: Tokkyu 1 (Red), Tokkyu 2 (Blue), Tokkyu 3 (Yellow), Tokkyu 4 (Green) and Tokkyu 5 (Pink) and they will protect the Rainbow Line from the evil Shadow!

The Tokkyugers will pilot the Tokkyu-Oh, a giant mecha composed for five colorful trains piloted by our heroes. These colorful trains are: Red Resshar, Blue Resshar, Yellow Resshar, Green Resshar, and Pink Resshar The toy version of the mecha, when lined-up together has a length of 1.2 meters, and when combined, it stands 275mm.

Our heroes will use an item called Tokkyu Resshar, a ticket which is loaded to their transformation device called Tokkyu Changer to transform. Also seen at the left side of the scans are the additional trains that will be used later in the series.

As mentioned earlier, the team's transformation device is called the Tokyyu Changer, which you can see on your right. On your left are the extra mecha attachments to Tokkyu-Oh.

As seen in the scan, the light blue train called "Tank Resshar" can combine to the the mecha to form the Tokkyu-Oh Tank. This grants the mecha multiple shots. The second attachment, an orange train called "CarCarrier" can combine to the mecha to form the Tokkyu-Oh Carrier.

Now for the weapons, seen on the right is the DX Renketsu Bazooka, which is composed of the team's personal weapons: Rail Slasher (Red), Form Trigger (Blue), Shingou Hammer (Yellow), Tunnel Axe (Green) and Tekkyou Claw (Pink).

Seen on the left is the team's common weapon, the Tokkyu Blaster, which transforms from "Uchimasu Mode" (Gun) into "Kirimasu Mode" (Sword). All members are equipped with the Tokkyu Buckle and Rainbow Pass.

Seen above are the other merchandise for the series, which are action figures for Tokkyu 1, Tokkyu 2 and Tokkyu 3; sofubi figures, which reveals that the team is composed of 3 male and 2 female members and more.

Secret Kyoryuger Ranger Key Finally Revealed

It is officially confirmed that the secret 13th Ranger Key in the Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger Ranger Key Set is none other than Deathryuger! He first made an appearance in the Kyoryuger: Gaburincho of Music film.

This 13-piece Ranger Key set features all the Kyoryugers that appeared in the show and since these Keys will not make any special sounds in the Mobirates, this release contains a special audio device where you can insert your keys. The device is voiced by Shigeru Chiba.

The Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger Ranger Key Set cost 16,200 yen and is set for a March 2014 release.
