38th Super Sentai Series: Ressha Sentai Tokkyuger

(On the right): Grand Liner, one of the first known train mecha in the Super Sentai franchise

The name of the 38th Super Sentai Series is finally copyrighted by Toei! The name of the series is Ressha Sentai Tokkyuger (烈車戦隊トッキュウジャー) and it seems that the show has something to do with trains!

The word "ressha" is a pun on a Japanese word, which means "train" using the kanji for "vehement car (烈車)" instead of the usual "line car (列車)". While "tokkyu" means "limited express train".

Ressha Sentai Tokkyuger is expected to premiere next year.
