The suits and the official logo of the 37th Super Sentai Series, Juuden Sentai Kyoryuger is finally revealed! This dinosaur-themed team is set to debut early next year.
Bandai's President admitted that Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters is under performing and cited the reasons that the show is too dark for its target audience. Thus Toei and Bandai decided to create an upbeat and fun show atmosphere and lots of music with "ridiculously" strong main characters.
The Kyoryugers are composed of Red, Blue, Green, Black and Pink with Pink being the only female member. The last time a Super Sentai didn't have a Yellow was in Dengeki Sentai Changeman back in 1985. The collectible items for this series are batteries called "JuuDenchi", which is charged up with "dino power" and used for attacks.
When attacks are performed, iconic samba music is played by the weapons and other toys, it’s also been said that other, more Western sounding music will be played. In addition, they will have a total of five mecha and a three-piece main robot. The mecha is one main body piece and two arms.
The show will be directed by Koichi Sakamoto (Kamen Rider Fourze, Power Rangers) and will be written by Riku Sanjou (Kamen Rider W, Digimon Xros Wars, Beet the Vandel Buster).
