AAC Stunts: Thoughts About Megaforce, Super Megaforce & Samurai

The official AAC Stunts blog posted a new entry about Power Rangers Megaforce and Super Megaforce about their thoughts working on the two Power Rangers seasons.

The new blog entry reveals some interesting details about the filming process of both shows and some insight about Power Rangers Samurai and Super Samurai. Here's a rundown of the info coming from the blog.

The filming for Megaforce began on September of 2012, and they took a two month winter break. Filming resumed on February and they filmed nearly every day until mid-June. The stunt crew did a lot of work thanks to the changing between directors and there was a lot of confusion with the stunt coordination.

He also comments that Samurai is less fun in terms of filming because it's a direct adaptation of Shinkenger storylines that they only filmed little new action footage. In case of Megaforce and Super Megaforce, it has more original content, and more action than in the past few seasons. Though it is not as flashy when it comes to pyrotechnics, but it has far more original stunt work in recent history.

He also revealed that in the Gokaiger stuff in the filming, they only used the suits from Zyuranger onwards. He also shared that some workers are had trouble figuring out which suit was which and I quote, "Which series was that from? I've never seen that suit before!" He also revealed that "there will however be surprises hidden in the story."

Lastly, he shared the injuries he got while filming for the series and that they will begin filming another season next year.
