Kamen Teacher Live-Action TV Adaptation Revealed


Kamen Teacher, another manga created by Tohru Fujisawa of GTO fame will have a live-action tokusatsu TV adaptation! Kamen Teacher is set to premiere this summer.

The upcoming TV series will star Taisuke Fujigaya of Kis-My-Ft2 as the titular hero Gouta Araki aka Kamen Teacher Hayato Jumonji. This motorcycle riding hero's job is to bring light to trouble schools by putting down delinquents.

Also staring in the series are Aya Omasa (Paradise Kiss) as the English teacher and Sexy Zone's Fuma Kikuchi (Future Diary -Another World-) will play M4, a powerful student leader. Other cast members include Johnny's Jr. members Jesse, Yūta Kishi, Taiga Kyōmoto, Shō Takada, and A.B.C-Z's Ryōichi Tsukada.

The plot of the upcoming live-action is that Araki has been transfered to another high school after a certain incident. There, he is handed the second year's Class C, which only has problem students led by a powerful student nicknamed "M4". Araki wants to reach out to the students without resorting to using the power of the mask, but he reluctantly puts it on to bring the students in line and rehabilitate them.
