S.H. FiguArts Tricera Ranger Coming Soon


The latest issue of Figure-oh revealed that S.H. FiguArts Tricera Ranger is coming very soon. Sadly, the first scan we have didn't have a proper shot of the announcement.

The only clear info we have about this figure is that aside from the obligatory interchangeable hands and Ranger Stick, S.H. FiguArts Tricera Ranger also comes with the Tricera Lance in it's two modes. The Tricera Lance can combine with the other S.H. FiguArts size Zyuranger weapons to form the Howling Cannon.

More information such as the release date and the price once we have a better scan of the item.

Latest Ressha Sentai Tokkyuger Images Revealed


New images of Ressha Sentai Tokkyuger has surfaced online, which gave us a better look on the hero suits and the team's main mecha.

Unlike the past Super Sentai teams before them, instead of using colors, they use numbers. The Tokkyugers are: Tokkyu 1 (Red), Tokkyu 2 (Blue), Tokkyu 3 (Yellow), Tokkyu 4 (Green) and Tokkyu 5 (Pink).


The protectors of the Rainbow Line, these heroes will pilot the Tokkyu-Oh, a giant mecha composed for five colorful trains piloted by our heroes. These colorful trains are: Red Resshar, Blue Resshar, Yellow Resshar, Green Resshar, and Pink Resshar.

Also seen in the scan is the team's common weapon, the Tokkyu Blaster, which transforms from "Uchimasu Mode" (Gun) into "Kirimasu Mode" (Sword). All members are equipped with the Tokkyu Buckle and Rainbow Pass.


Aside from another shot of Tokkyu-Oh, we also have a shot of the team's transformation device, Tokkyu Changer. You need to insert a Tokkyu Resshar for them to transform. Also seen are other shots of the team's common weapon, the Tokkyu Blaster.

The series will premiere this February 16, 2014.

S.H. FiguArts Auto Vajin Robot Transformation Gimmick Revealed


Bandai Tamashii Nations posted new images of S.H. FiguArts Auto Vajin from Kamen Rider 555, which revealed that Faiz's trusty motorcycle can transform into robot mode just like in the original TV series.

Aside from the photos of Auto Vajin's robot mode, a new S.H. FiguArts Kamen Rider Faiz will be released alongside with Auto Vajin. The difference with the first version is that it also includes a Faiz Axel Brace.


As part of Kamen Rider 555's 10th anniversary celebrations, the Tamashii Web Shop Exclusive S.H. FiguArts Auto Vajin will be released in two packages, the regular edition (costs 5,400 yen) and the one bundled with the new S.H. FiguArts Kamen Rider Faiz (costs 8,356 yen).

S.H. FiguArts Auto Vajin will be released on May 2014.

Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment PS Vita Game 2nd Trailer


Namco Bandai Games is streaming the second trailer video of Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment game for the PS Vita. A follow up to the SAO: Infinity Moment (PSP), this game takes place in Aincrad's unexplored "Hollow Area".

Kirito once again explores Aincrad and run into a mysterious "orange player" who attacks him and claimed that she has killed a person. Kirito and his friends continue to explore the dangerous area in a new adventure.


Aside from dating the female players, the game also has an "adventure mode" in which players have an option to create their own characters and play with up to 8 other people online to go on quests in the Hollow Area.

The game will be released on April 24 and costs 6,170 yen. The game's limited first edition will include exclusive content not found in the standard edition. For more info about it, you can check this post.

Final Kill la Kill Blu-ray/DVD Volume to Include Unaired Episode


The official Kill la Kill anime website announced that the 9th/final volume of the Blu-ray/DVD will include an unaired episode.

The volume will be released on September 3, 2014 with the 24th episode and the special unaired episode. The volume will also include audio commentaries, Japanese subtitles, and a web preview video.

The limited first pressing of the volume will add a bonus making-of documentary DVD Vol. 3 disc, a case and packaging illustrated by character designer Sushio, and an exclusive book.

S.H. FiguArts Kamen Rider Shin Revealed


The first of the 90's Kamen Riders is finally having his own S.H. FiguArts! It's officially confirmed that S.H. FiguArts Kamen Rider Shin will be released in May 2014.

As seen in the scan, Shin can open his mouth and has a set of interchangeable hands for various poses. The figure costs 4,350 yen and is said to be a web shop exclusive figure.

Live-Action The Next Generation -Patlabor- Teaser Trailer


The first teaser of Mamoru Oshii's The Next Generation -Patlabor- live-action series and film project is now online. The teaser features the main mecha of the series, the AV-98 Ingram in motion.

A sequel to the original Patlabor anime stories, it takes place in the year 2013 in Tokyo and features the third generation of Patlabor. The Tokyo Metropolitan Police has disbanded its Section 2 Division 1 of police robots, and Section 2 Division 2 barely survived the budget cuts due to the long recession.


The project begins as a seven-part series, which is composed of an episode 0 that lasts for 10 minutes and 12 full episodes directed by project's chief director Mamoru Oshii and other directors. Oshii will also direct the feature-length film that will open in Spring 2015.

Each part of the seven-part series will last for 45 minutes with the first part that is set to premiere on April 5, 2014.
