Kamen Rider 555 & Agito Novel Spoilers

The Kamen Rider 555 and Kamen Rider Agito novels were released today and thus, fans decide to spoil some details about these new novels!

The Kamen Rider 555 novel is a re-release of the first Kamen Rider 555 novel called "Kamen Rider 555: Grotesque Flowers" with a 40-page epilogue sequel. To put it simply, the infamous rape scene is still intact.

As for the Kamen Rider Agito novel, it is a retelling of the show but it's a bit different. It doesn't have the same ending, seems to address a few plot holes.

Tensou Sentai Goseiger 08 – Power Trouble

EPIC on the Fail. I know, bad movie reference.

Because of Fantafo of the Folly's ability to alter someone's neurons, Alata can't properly use his Invocations, causing him to be stuck in his transformed state for quite some time! Can Alata get out of this mess?

For starters, I just love Fantafo for being that MOTW that his superiors didn't like initially, that is until he starts doing his job of changing the neuron transfer in humans or changing the ways how a machine works, causing traffic accidents and the like. But the best thing this guy did is that Alata can't revert back to normal and that every time he tries using an Invocation, he always ends up casting a different Invocation, which leads to disaster!

Speaking of disaster, it's fun watching Nozomu think of a future wherein Alata can't revert back to normal, causing him to do things that normal people do in a regular basis while in suit! What made it fun is that Nozomu thinks of absurd situations such as going to a barber or do grocery shopping. The way these scenes are presented and the fact that Nozomu never thought if Alata can still eat while his helmet is what makes this scene really fun to watch. Seriously, how can Alata eat while wearing a helmet?

More of this disasters, when Agri suggested that he should use all of his Guardian Power to drain his energy by using his Invocations, it always end up with Alata casting a different Invocation at the end. From almost transforming back to normal and to casting Comprethunder in Nozomu's house that hit his father, it's loads of fun just thinking of the possibilities on what will happen if he inserts this x card in his Tensouder in x amount of times!

The next day, I am still surprised that Alata is still quite energetic even though it is obvious that he hasn't eaten anything thanks to his current situation. What's more is that his situation is getting a lot more worse as his reverts back to normal without doing anything and then all of a sudden, he wears his suit! After Nozomu's dad left, Fantafo attacks the city. But because they don't know how they can bring Alata back to normal, they decided to admit defeat. Wait, what?! If I will base Hyde's face, it seems that he has a plan on how they can beat Fantafo. The plan is basically praising Fantafo till he has the guts to reveal his weakness. Much to my surprise, the plan worked. It also confirms how gullible this creature is.

After the other four Goseigers transform, it is time to fight the MOTW when all of a sudden, Alata reverts back to normal. This is getting more difficult for our heroes now that Alata's problem continues to go worse. Even without Alata, the Goseigers tried to manage to win the fight that is until Bladerun appeared and without breaking a sweat, he defeated the Goseigers with ease. What's more, Alata can't do a thing about it as his cards are now grayscale and that the problem in regards to his Invocations is getting worse!

But that didn't stop Alata, after listening to the words coming from his friends, Alata showed pure determination just to fight the MOTW. After Bladerun enlarged the MOTW, it is time for them to summon GoseiGreat but because Alata's powers are still a bit wonky, he cannot summon the Dragon Headder, which now leads us to the weirdest scenes in this series. I was caught off guard when Alata decides to pick up some oil pastels a kid dropped during the MOTW's attack in the city. With it, he draws the Dragon Headder... which kinda looks like a horse to me.

Alata uses this card and all of a sudden, this lead to the creation of the Exotic Brothers! The Headders are basically colored repaints of the Gosei Dragon and I can deal with it because they were able to destroy the MOTW's antennae! Now that everything is done, it is time for the giant battle. Exotic GoseiGreat looks cool and I am happy that instead of using different faces in the chest, they decided to stick it with different suit recolors of Gosei Dragon. As for the fight itself, it is really quick, which reminded me of the 80's and early 90's giant fights.

At the end, because of what happened, Alata is on a groove to paint more even though he is seriously bad at it! As for the Exotic Brothers, those creatures are basically one-shot mecha because Alata's new drawing didn't summon a new group of Exotic Headders! As for Alata's drawing skills, it is so bad that I find it really funny that he is taking this too seriously! Did I mention that the show has a new opening featuring the GoseiMic?

Power Rangers Megaforce's First Morph

Here's the first transformation of the Power Rangers Megaforce seen in the show's first episode entitled, "Mega Mission" and yes, they did a homage on the first transformation of the MMPR Rangers.

Aside from the homage, you can see that they are using the exact cards used in Goseiger.

When malicious aliens make their way to Earth's orbit, Gosei decides to form a new team of teenage heroes to defend the planet and carry on the proud tradition of the Power Rangers.

Power Rangers Megaforce premieres this February 2.

Special thanks to Megaforce Cast for the clip!

Vertical Publishing: Kamen Rider SPIRITS Manga, Not Priority Title

Last year, Vertical Publishing asked their fans if they want Kamen Rider SPIRITS manga in US shores. In a recent Tumblr post, they replied a fan's question in regards to this series.

And I quote:

To be completely honest, the title is not a priority for us. However, if demand is there, we would consider it.

If we can get 6000 pre-orders we would definitely do it.

To give you an idea on what Kamen Rider SPIRITS is all about, this is a manga series continues some of the unfinished storylines in the TV series and continues some of the adventures of some of the Riders before focusing on the 10th Kamen Rider, Kamen Rider ZX.

Bakuman S3 13 – Copycats & Real Crime

The original Perfect Crime Party.

Because of the incident involving criminals copying perfect crimes from PCP, Takagi is on a state of depression as it affects the way he is writing the manga. Can Takagi have his writing grove back?

Takagi being greatly affected by the copycat crimes is understandable because he wrote PCP. That is why, it makes sense that even though he thinks that he is writing PCP like he always do, he ends up unconsciously writing material that is not the same quality like that of the previous chapters. To put it simply, he is on a struggle on how he can get his writing groove back thanks to the copycat crimes. It didn't surprise me at one point that he even asked his wife if he is fine if their future kids will copy PCP's perfect crimes! To put it simply, he is a man who needs emotional support right now.

To add up the depression, PCP's rankings dropped to the double-digit category and that Niizuma's CROW is getting the number 1 ranking for a couple of issues now. It didn't help that the copycat crimes now claimed that they are PCP! For once, we saw Takagi go into a rage, he acted like he is not the cool and calculated Takagi that we know. The only way to calm himself down is to scribble his depression away, though it is not helping at all.

Because of what happened to Takagi, Kaya is now concerned about her husband and decided to call Mashiro, which leads to Mashiro realizing something that the copycat criminals didn't realize. The PCP are not criminals, just pranksters who just loves to have fun. Thanks to this, Takagi finally have his groove back and writes a PCP story based on the PCP copycat crimes. The only problem I have with this one is that they didn't reveal the fate of the PCP copycat criminals.

Meanwhile, Nakai is having problems with Aoki but thanks to Hiramaru; it's resolved, which ended up with Nakai becoming Hiramaru's assistant. Well this will be interesting.

Kamen Rider BLACK 12 – A New Ride

DX Road Sector! Batteries not included.

In this episode, Kotaro hears a distant motorcycle noise in the mountains and decides to investigate it. To cut long story short, Gorgom wants something coming from the man who is practicing in the mountains. What is this Road Sector and how strong is this new motorcycle?

Before talking about the actual contents about this episode, let's talk about what Kotaro reminisced about motorcycles. We have this brief scene of him and his brother biking in the mountain areas just for fun. Having this kind of scene made us fans remember about Nobuhiko in just for a brief moment in which until now, we still don't know his fate. This is when the biker comes in. For once, we saw a 10-year-old biker doing feats that a kid of his age can't do and that he is being secretly trained by his father for some reason.

Thanks to Kotaro doing further investigation, we learned that his father is a former racer who disappeared all of a sudden. Because he just disappeared and that he is living in the mountains, there is only one conclusion, Gorgom is somehow involved with this one. After Kotaro saved them from Gorgom's Mutants, we learned his history on how his family got involved with Gorgom. To sum it all up, his father was a former Gorgom scientist and that he created a bike known as the Road Sector. After learning that Gorgom has plans to use the bike for evil and that his son will be one of the riders, he plans not to give his creation to Gorgom. This leads to the death of the former Gorgom scientist and his daughter in-law. Guess it is no surprise that he ends up hiding in the mountains then.

After Kotaro had his talk with the man about revenge, the man decides to give Road Sector to Kotaro since both of them were Gorgom victims. The location where Road Sector is hidden is something that I already expected. There is an underground passage leading to the bike and that they need to go somewhere deep in the forest just to find the bike. As for the bike itself, Road Sector looks beautiful. Color scheme wise, it clashes with Kamen Rider BLACK's black color scheme but who cares; the Road Sector is one beautifully painted bike!

As for its features, it has this special Attack Shield to protect the rider from hurting himself once it rams the machine in extreme speed. When Kotaro tested the machine without transforming, he was able to travel for 500km/h, something that normal motorcycles can't do. But the true test of its power is when during Kotaro transforms into Kamen Rider BLACK!

Because of the appearance of the two Mutants, Kotaro transforms into Kamen Rider BLACK. The first thing that I observed is that the bike is not moving while Kotaro performs his transformation pose. The camera angles only made the scene look like the Road Sector is moving while Kotaro is busy doing his transformation pose. The fights in this episode are fun to watch, but what to watch out for is Road Sector's first battle. Thanks to the kid, we saw more of Road Sector's abilities. If the speed lines are correct, BLACK is travelling speeds more than 500km/h because he can just ram metal crates like he is breaking styrofoam.

At the end, Kamen Rider BLACK saved the day and to make it more special, it seems that he defeated two Mutants in a single episode! What's more, we learned that the Road Sector has a lot of secrets. Guess we should wait for the next episode to see what are Road Sector's other features. Did I mention that Kotaro now is the official owner of Road Sector, making him one of those few Riders who have two bikes simultaneously during the course of his respective series?

Hikari Sentai Maskman 12 – A Ninja's Pride

Ninja Yellow, Haruka! Wait a minute.

Fuumin and Oyobu wants to kill the Shinobi Dogler, a creature once you beat it can give someone the ability to become a Super Shinobi! Because the fight is affecting civilians who are not supposed to be involved, Haruka fights them. Can Haruka stop these underground ninjas?

This is probably, one of my favorite episodes in the series thus far. The opening scene has this feeling of danger; it makes me wonder what she is looking until we saw the Shinobi Dogler. What bothered me the most is that why the heck two underground ninjas are fighting in public? I mean for starters, they are ninjas and to top it off, they are underground ninjas! Why fight in public if they can fight somewhere hidden? As for their fight, it is seriously intense. It's just two ninjas showing off their best ninja tactics to outsmart each other.

But because their fight is affecting innocent lives, the Maskmen entered the scene and Haruka, the only ninja in the team, fights the Shinobi Dogler, Fuumin and surprise, Oyobu! This is around the time we learned what's special with the Shinobi Dogler and why the heck Fuumin is fighting it. The Shinobi Dogler has the Shinobi Ball that grants someone the ability to become a Super Shinobi once you got it on your hands!

Haruka in the first half of the episode is seriously fantastic, though her first fight in this episode is quite brief; it properly highlights her principle as a ninja. To fight her opponents in the shadows, and not to harm any civilians, the reason why her first fight in this episode is quite brief because she was thrown out in the window, injuring her arm. Back in the base, we learn more about her ninja training, which is quite impressive. What surprised me is that she started her ninja training at an early age. What's amazing is that she was able to defeat a group of full grown men in an early age!

Her ninja upbringing also showed us that she has this sense of ninja pride that she doesn't want other people to ruin this pride. And thus, even with an injured arm, she disappeared and showed us her epic ninja skills, and boy, it was epic. For starters, she single-handedly defeated Fuumin without breaking a sweat. Second is that after this scene, we saw Fuumin's arm but for some reason, we saw Fuumin's feet chasing the Shinobi Dogler. This can only mean one thing; it's Haruka in disguise as Fuumin.

What made the scene really cool is that the viewers who haven't figure it out will wonder if Fuumin is still dead or it's just Haruka in disguise. What's more is that after she chained the Shinobi Dogler in a freakin' truck loaded with sand, she drives the truck to the traditional abandoned quarry, ignoring the ones on her way. I just love that she wants to keep her cover not being discovered but based on Takeru's face, I guess he already figured it out.

While Haruka is busy driving the truck, Oyobu arrives to look for the Shinobi Dogler, only to learn that it is gone in the truck after he shoot it. Igam appears and finally, the viewers now know that it's Haruka wearing Fuumin's costume. Her mastery of the art of deception is quite impressive and witness probably, one of the best out of suit fights in this series. Haruka showing off her ninja skills and having the upper hand on a couple of foot soldiers carrying guns is seriously impressive.

After she is done with these foot soldiers, she transforms into Yellow Mask and fights the Shinobi Dogler who is done with Oyobu. We also learned Yellow Mask's special weapon, the Masky Rotor, which is basically a yo-yo. Well this is a fighting weapon for ninja. Speaking of which, with the help of Aura Power, she showed us one of her moves, the Shadow Clone Technique. The first thing I noticed with Yellow Mask's Shadow Clones is that they are not in the same height, and second is that their posing is not identical. Even if that is the case, the Shadow Clones did an impressive job in battle and gave us this illusion that there are an army of Yellow Fours fighting the Shinobi Dogler.

After finishing the Shinobi Dogler with a Shot Bomber, the Shinobi Ball fell out and Fuumin grabbed it before the Maskmen can have it! But nope, out of nowhere, Oyobu, who is supposed to be trapped inside Shinobi Dogler's plan steals the Shinobi Ball! What made this scene really fantastic is that out of nowhere, Anagmas grabs the Shinobi Ball and learned its true purpose, with it, he can become Super Anagmas and have the ability to defeat Great Five in one swoop!

To be honest, I wasn't expecting a giant fight in this episode because of the intensity of the ninja fights in this episode but thanks to Anagmas revealing the Shinobi Ball's true purpose, guess we have no choice but to have a giant fight. Compared to the previous giant fights, which bored me after a few minutes, this episode's giant fight is seriously fun. While this is happening, Anagmas is busy with his ceremony in calling forth the true power of the Shinobi Ball. At the end, the Great Five defeated the Shinobi Dogler. Speaking of the Shinobi Ball, it's actually a bomb! Guess it only means one thing, someone switched the real one to a fake Shinobi Ball!

As expected, Haruka is the one responsible for the switch! Before we can see how can this stone can turn someone into a Super Shinobi, the stone turned into sand because it was exposed to sunlight while Akira is holding it. At the end, we learned one important lesson that Akira and us viewers should remember, there are no shortcuts to become strong. The best way to become strong is by training or working hard for it to become strong. At the end, this episode made me want more Haruka focused episodes because of how awesome she is in this episode that she even has the guts to defy her superior officer! I wanna see more of that!
