A filming for Unofficial Sentai Akibaranger's second season was spotted in Akihabara recently. According to reports, both Masato Wada (AkibaRed) and Karin Ogino (AkibaYellow) are present in the filming.
Kyoko Hinami, who played Mitsuki Aoyagi aka AkibaBlue is not present in the filming. Allegedly, she was replaced by a new character in the series. The scene above is supposed be right before a battle and our heroes are ready to transform!
It was rumored that the Akibaranger will be joined by an AkibaPurple, an idol-type character. News about the cast of the show's second season is still unknown as of the moment, as well as the air date of the series.
Lastly, aside from Akibaranger, Nijiyome Gakuen Z-Cune Aoi is also back for a second season in the series! This show-within-a-show featured Hiroyo Hakase (played by Maya Uchida) as the protagonist Aoi. The three heroes of the series are big fans of this anime.
