It has been announced that Bandai Namco Games will be releasing the third installment of idol group AKB48's PlayStation Portable dating game. To be entitled “AKB1/153 Renai Sōsenkyo” (AKB1/153 Love General Election), it will be released this December.
“AKB1/153 Renai Sōsenkyo” will features 153 members of the idol group, compared to the previous roster of 48, including members of AKB48 sister groups SKE48, NMB48, and HKT48. The game will be available in both PSP and PlayStation Vita.
It is the third "ultimate dating fantasy game" inspired by the all-female idol group AKB48, where the player can choose one of the members after each one confesses her love. This time, it will feature Christmas, Valentine's Day, and other seasonal events.
AKB48's Yuko Oshima featured in a wedding dress taking a helicopter ride in the Tokyo night sky, while SKE48's Jurina Matsui shot her confession scene in a school uniform in the rain.
A "Super Deluxe Box" will be included as a limited bonus, for 14,679 yen, which comes in with:
- AKB 1/153: Love Election for PSP (on two UMDS) or Vita
- Four making of DVDs with AKB48 idols (400 minutes)
- Three making of DVDs with SKE48 idols (300 minutes)
- Two making of DVDs with NMB48 idols (200 minutes)
- One making of DVD with the HKT48 idols (100 minutes)
- A 150 page swimsuit photobook with all of the idols
- Ten photos
