Pretty Cure International Rights, Now Under Saban Brands?

A fan e-mailed the Italian TV channel Rai if they have plans to air more Pretty Cure shows after HeartCatch Pretty Cure ended in Italy. The company responded that the Pretty Cure license is now on the hands of Saban Brands.

According to the e-mail, Toei Animation sold the international distribution of the Pretty Cure franchise to Saban Brands and that they will now send the final film of HeartCatch to Saban.

According to earlier reports, Saban Brands was planning a new superhero TV series called Gangnam Girls, which is about "music and fashion-driven animated series about five teenage girls chosen to protect Earth and a fanstastical land." The trademark application was later denied.

Saban later registered a trademark for a show called Glitter Force for toys, video games, TV show and etc. Both Gangnam Girls and Glitter Force are speculated to be PreCure localizations. As of this writing, Saban hasn't confirmed anything yet.
