Attack on Titan 3DS Game to Have Sasha Route DLC


It is officially revealed that Sasha Blouse will be available as a DLC character in the Attack on Titan: Humanity's Last Wings game for the Nintendo 3DS.

Aside from the character, you can also play her route in the game's story mode in which players play the game in Sasha's viewpoint. Once you clear her route, you can obtain Sasha's character set as parts for your own character in the World mode and a giant knife and fork set as weapons.

Similar to Levi's route, Sasha's route DLC will be available for free for a limited time. More info about it will be revealed in the game's official website.

Attack on Titan: No Regrets Caused Magazine to Increase Print Run 10 Times Than Usual


Kodansha decided to increase the print run of the January 2014 issue of the ARIA magazine 10 times more copies than usual because of the "Attack on Titan: No Regrets" manga by Hikaru Suruga and Gan Sunaaku.

It was previously reported that the first printing of this issue was five times greater than the magazine's usual print run. The second printing of this issue will be released around December 16. In addition, the February issue of ARIA magazine, which will be released this December 28 will once again feature Levi on the cover.

Attack on Titan: No Regrets is focused on Captain Levi's past, which includes his first encounter with Commander Erwin and how he joined the Survey Corps.

Attack on Titan Creator Abandoned Original Planned Ending


Attack on Titan creator Hajime Isaya revealed in an interview with White-Screen.jp that he's been evolving his manga, which includes adding new elements.

Part of this change is that he abandoned his plans for his series with a traumatizing ending. He had been thinking about something along the lines of the Frank Darabont's adaptation Stephen King's The Mist.

But because of the response to the manga and anime series, he has left him unable to take that path and a bit lost. Because of the support the series is getting, he doesn't want to slap the fans with a traumatic conclusion.

Live-Action Attack on Titan Film Adaptation Staff Revealed


The official Attack on Titan website announced that Shinji Higuchi (Neon Genesis Evangelion, Gamera) will direct the upcoming live-action film adaptation of the popular manga series.


In addition, Yuusuke Watanabe (Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, Gantz) is writing the script. He is also working with film critic Tomohiro Machiyama and series creator Hajime Isayama for the said scripts. Isayama is also present at business meetings for the film and has offered ideas on the scripts and characters.

The casting for the series is currently underway. The filming begins in summer 2014 and is planned for a 2015 release. TOHO will produce and distribute the film.

Attack on Titan Drama CD "Cleaning Battle" Preview


Kodansha streamed a preview of the Attack on Titan drama CD, which is bundled with the January issue of Bessatsu Shonen Magazine. This issue will ship in Japan on December 9.


The audio drama entitled "Squad Leader VS. Mikasa: Raging Cleaning Battle" features Mikasa narrating a new battle in the team's headquarters. A sleepy Eren is awoken by squad leader Levi, who says that it's time for the second large cleaning of the headquarters.

Although Eren tells him that dawn hasn't broken and the team has already done a big cleaning two days previous, Levi assigns him to clean the living quarters, as Eren cleaned the garden during the last cleaning.

A Look on Levi's Story Mode in the Attack on Titan 3DS Game


We finally have our first look on Levi's story mode in the upcoming Attack on Titan: Humanity's Last Wings game for the Nintendo 3DS.

The Levi route will let gamers play the game in Levi's perspective in the game's Story Mode, which recreated the story based from the original manga/anime series. This DLC will be available for free for a limited time starting this December 5.

Lastly, if you clear Levi's route, you can play as him in the game's multiplayer World Mode and use his special weapons and parts. The game will be released this December 5 for 6,090 yen (about US$61).

Attack on Titan Nintendo 3DS Game Introduction Video


Here's the introduction video of the Attack on Titan: Humanity's Last Wings for the Nintendo 3DS. The game's intro video features the two opening themes of this year's anime adaptation.

In Story Mode, players can control Eren, Mikasa, Armin and other members of the Survey Corps and recreate scenes from this year's hit anime. At the beginning, you can only play as Eren but as you progress, you can choose Mikasa and Armin.


In World Mode, players can make, customize and train their own original characters. After this, s/he can take either conventional or survey missions and as you level up, s/he can be equipped with new weapons and better gear.

Attack on Titan: Humanity's Last Wings will be released this December 5 for 6,090 yen (about US$61). Lastly, the game will feature a Levi route as DLC.

Attack on Titan Vol. 13 to Include Original Anime DVD


Japanese retailers listed that the limited edition bundle of Attack on Titan Vol. 13 manga will include a new original anime DVD (OAD). This volume will be released on April 9, 2014.

The new manga will depict another story about the 104th Training Corps. It was previously reported that the first Attack on Titan OAD will be released next month. Entitled "Ilse's Journal", this prologue story is about a Survey Corps member.

New Attack on Titan Web Game Features Horse Racing


Japan Racing Association and the Attack on Titan anime revealed that they are collaborating for an interactive game called "Attack on Japan Cup". The game features Titans and anti-Titan forces as racers.

In the game, the players watches Eren as he races his fellow members and Titans. At some points during the race, you can change Eren's position by completing rhythm games. Eren will be given approval or disapproval from the race announcer depending on the level of completion of the rhythm game.

The website will be unveiled at the "Shingeki no Ariba Kinen" event starting on December 11.

The latest promo for the Attack on Titan: Humanity's Last Wings game for the Nintendo 3DS features the game's Story and World Modes.

TeamFourStar, the team behind the very popular Dragon Ball Z Abridged just released the first episode of Attack on Titan Abridged!


For those who are not aware what's an Abridged Series, it's basically multiple episodes of a TV show compressed into a single episode... and pokes fun on the show's basic tropes at the same time. To put it simply, it's a parody.

Attack on Titan: No Regrets Caused Magazine to Increase Print Run to 500%


Kodansha will increase the print run of the ARIA magazine for 500% thanks to the lunch of the Attack on Titan manga spin-off entitled "Attack on Titan: No Regrets" by Hikaru Suruga and Gan Sunaaku.

The series starts in the January issue of the magazine, which will be released on November 28th with a color opening page. That issue will also have the said title on the cover and a clear file with exclusive art by Suruga. In addition, the first compiled book volume will ship next April.

Attack on Titan: No Regrets is focused on Captain Levi's past, which includes his first encounter with Commander Erwin and how he joined the Survey Corps.

Attack on Titan Vol. 5 Blu-ray/DVD to Bundle Full-Color Manga


The December issue of Bessatsu Shonen Magazine revealed that the fifth Attack on Titan Blu-ray/DVD volume will bundle a full-color manga.

The Blu-ray/DVD contains episodes 11-13 and the 88-page manga, which is a full-color version of the original manga chapters that the said episodes are based on.


In addition, the volume will also have a separate 12-page full-color booklet, end card illustrations, a sleeve case designed by character designer Kyoji Asano, and Digipak packaging. The volume will be released on November 20 in Japan and costs 7,875 yen for the Blu-ray and 6,825 yen for the DVD.

Latest Attack on Titan: Humanity's Last Wings Nintendo 3DS Game Trailer


The latest trailer of Attack on Titan: Humanity's Last Wings for the Nintendo 3DS has surfaced online. The trailer features Eren Titan in action and a bit of character customization.


As Eren Titan, you can punch and kick enemy Titans. Lastly, you can create an original character and challenge a large number of missions in World Mode. In addition, there are general missions and investigation missions.

New missions are unlocked as previous ones are cleared. You'll be able to set your character's skills before the start of each mission. Lastly, you can earn new skills if you satisfy certain requirements.

Attack on Titan's Levi to Have figma Figure


Good Smile Company recently posted the prototype version of figma Levi from Attack on Titan! Details such as the release date and the price is still unknown as of this writing.


As seen in the pictures, figma Levi comes with the 3D Maneuver Gear that you can detach. In addition, Levi will also have his own Nendoroid super-deformed figure.

New pictures for the Attack on Titan: Humanity's Last Wings game for the Nintendo 3DS features the 3D Maneuver Gear in action, Eren Titan and the game's character creation feature!

Attack on Titan's 1/1 Scale 3D Maneuver Gear Revealed


An Attack on Titan exhibit is happening on the observatory on the 60th floor of Tokyo's Ikebukuro Sunshine shopping center. The exhibit features some new merchandise, which includes 1/1 scale 3D Maneuver Gear.


This 1/1 scale of the 3D Maneuver Gear from the popular anime/manga series is scheduled to go on sale sometime next year. For fans who want to see this item on display, you visit the Attack on Titan exhibit in Tokyo, which will last until November 4.

figma Eren Yeager Official Images


The official figma blog posted the official images of figma Eren Yeager from the Attack on Titan manga/anime series.


This figure comes with a set of alternate faces, the 3D Maneuver Gear with the blades, and hooks and smoke effect parts, a Survey Corps cloak and a set of interchangeable hands. This figure is set for an April 2014 release.

Kodansha Comics to Release Two Attack on Titan Spin-off Manga Titles


The official Kodansha Comics Facebook page announced that the two Attack on Titan spin-off manga titles will have an official English language release!

First is the Attack on Titan: Before the fall, which will be released this March 2014 in both digital and print formats. This spin-off takes place 70 years before the fall of Wall Maria and reveals how humanity started fighting Titans and the creation of the 3D Maneuver Gear.

Originally released as a series of light novels, Vertical will release the original light novels in Summer 2014.

The other spin-off to be release is the Attack on Titan: No Regrets, which is set for an August 2014 release in both digital and print formats. This spin-off is focused on Levi's dark past, his first encounter with Commander Erwin and his recruitment to the Survey Corps.
