The lead cast of the live-action adaptation of Miki Yoshikawa's school romantic comedy manga Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo was announced last Sunday. The drama stars Mariya Nishiuchi (GTO 2012, One Piece Film Z) and Yusuke Yamamoto (Kamen Rider Kabuto, GTO 2012).
The story is about the high school's worst problem child, Ryu Yamada (Yamamoto) who bumps into the beautiful honor student Urara Shiraishi (Nishiuchi) on the stairs, and their lips touch as they fall. When they regain their wits, they realize that they have swapped bodies. As time progresses, the two realize that this is not the only mysterious happening in the school.
The live-action TV series is scheduled to air every Saturday starting this August 10th at 11:10pm only on Fuji TV.
