Kyoko is having a strange dream about Nobuhiko asking for her help. As it turns out, the dream was created by the Tapir Mutant so that they can use her life energy to feed the weakened Nobuhiko Akizuki aka Shadow Moon! Can Kotaro save the both of them?
The plot of the series starts to move again as they once again brought up Nobuhiko! What made this episode more special is how they were able to incorporate Kyoko to the plot. The fact that Kyoko is having strange dreams about her problem asking for her help might be a sign that this is the perfect opportunity to save Nobuhiko! But considering the fact that the series hasn't reach its halfway mark, guess it is safe to assume that this is not yet the time to save Nobuhiko.
So yeah, this strange dream about Nobuhiko is obviously a Gorgom plot. Because Kyoko thinks that the said dream has nothing to do with Gorgom, she ends up falling to the trap set by Gorgom. This then lead us to scene wherein Kyoko and Nobuhiko had their short reunion. Granted, it was all an illusion but you can see Kyoko's desire to see her brother again. The said desire is also one of the requirements set by one of the Gorgom priest so that the plan to use Kyoko's life energy for them to feed it to Shadow Moon will work!
This then leads us to a scene wherein Kyoko meets the three Gorgom priest for the first time. Instead of fear, Kyoko is determined to save Nobuhiko after seeing his current state. Speaking of which, his pre-Shadow Moon state kinda looks like a more metallic version of Kotaro's pre-Black Sun state. But that's not what this scene is all about; the scene basically showed us how much Kyoko cares for her brother that she is willing to sacrifice her own life just to bring him back to normal... even if her action is the exact opposite of it. Dang it, Gorgom!
As for Kotaro, he discovers where the Tapir Mutant is hiding Kyoko's body since her soul is currently being fed to Nobuhiko's weakening body. With that in mind, the fight between BLACK and the Tapir Mutant begins. The fight is not that interesting, so yeah, after the finisher, everything is back to normal and that Kotaro saved Kyoko's soul from being devoured completely by Shadow Moon. At the end, Kotaro was able to save Kyoko and Nobuhiko's mutation to Shadow Moon continues now that he has bits of Kyoko's soul. The bigger is this, can Kotaro save the man that he considers his brother?
