JoJo's Bizarre Adventure 21 – Prelude to a Storm

IT BEGINS.

In this episode, we learned Lisa Lisa's past and how he is connected with the Joestars. But that's not all, this episode also served as a prelude to the duel between Joseph and Wham.

For starters, this episode featured a lot talking and some fights. So I'll first talk this episode's only fight, the fight between Lisa Lisa and Wired Beck. If there is one thing this fight showed us is that Lisa Lisa here can fight with only her scarf, which showed us her coldness in battle. That scene showed us why she is a Ripple Master. Later in the episode, when they finally reached the room where Wham is resting, we saw her ability to detect enemies even though they are trying their best to hide their presence.

But that's not all; she made one of heck of a bluff during the time Joseph ran out of ideas on how he can outsmart a horde of vampires. The way she fooled the vampires and the remaining Pillar Men showed us why we shouldn't mess with this chick. At the fact that she acts cold for most of the time and has this poker face, we are not sure if she is joking or just bluffing well. So in a nutshell, the first half of the episode is basically why Lisa Lisa is awesome and that he can beat the Pillar Men if she is wearing proper clothes and have her trusty scarf.

The second half is basically this, now that Lisa Lisa's bluff worked, it is time for Joseph to get the Red Stone of Aja so that they can begin their match with the remaining Pillar Men. This caused Joseph to discover that his master is related to his family. As it turns out, she is the baby that Erina saved 50 years ago and thanks to the Ripple, she still looks young and beautiful even though she is in her 50s! But that is not the main highlight in this episode, but the last few minutes of the episode.

The last few minutes basically tells us what to expect in the next episode, we should expect an all-out war between Joseph and Wham. Not only their battle is a chariot battle, but it is basically a battle between a gambler and a noble warrior, part 2 now that the gambler has grown into becoming one fine warrior. The way the episode ended is fantastic, Joseph paying his respect to Caesar and wished that his spirit is fighting alongside with him is one of those moments in this series that made me scream with joy. That scene basically tells us that blood will be spilled once the fight begins, and I can't wait for it.
