The official SM Cinema Facebook page has just announced that they will exclusively air Hunter x Hunter: Phantom Rouge on SM Cinemas nationwide very soon! This is the first time the movie will receive an international release.
Distributing the movie will be no other that Pioneer Films (Movie Punch) that asked the fan's opinion about distributing the said movie earlier this week. They previously distributed Sadako 3D (The Ring 3: Sadako), Rurouni Kenshin and One Piece Film Z, which will have its Philippine release this May 1st.
In the movie, Kurapika's "scarlet eyes" were stolen by an unknown party. On the brink of death, his life was saved with the help of Gon, Killua, and Leorio. The Phantom Troupe stands before them, along with Omokage, the true identity of the person with the No.4 spider tattoo.
