The first official images of Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger's KyoryuGold has just surfaced online as he will make his debut this April! The new images confirmed some of the rumors concerning the new hero!
Kyoryu Gold is a samurai from 400 years ago named Maru Utsusemi (played by Atsushi Maruyama). He fought alongside Torin against the Deboss Legion during the Sengoku era. He uses the Beast Battery #6 Pteragordon and the Gaburi Changer to transform.
As for how he ended up in our era, he ended up being sealed inside his rival, Dogold, the Warrior of Anger, during their fight. As it turns out, Dogold is actually an armor with its own will. As he is released, he swears to destroy the Deboss Legion.
Gold's partner is Pteragordon, which will be used for evil in a couple of episodes. Once he is back under Gold's control, it has the ability to transform into the Pteraiden-Oh! Also seen in the scans is KyoryuGold in action with his weapon, the Zandar Thunder. Using 3 batteries, he can activate his special attack, "Mysterious Lightning Afterglow".
Aside from the main KentroSpiker combined weapon, the five individual Kyoryuger weapons has two alternate versions! First is the FangShot, a combination of Gabutyra Fang and the Parasa Shot and the ShieldLanSlasher, a combination of the Stego Shield, Dricera Lance and the Zakutor Slasher.
Lastly, a silhouetted image of the Raiden Kyoryuzin, a formation composted of Gabutyra, Stegochi, Dricera and Pteragordon was previewed. It is likely to debut this May.
