Kamen Rider Ryuki Novel Spoilers

Spoilers for the Kamen Rider Ryuki novel has surfaced online and just like most Kamen Rider novels, this take place in an alternate universe. The novel was released last August 30 and written by Toshiki Inoue and Naohiro Okamura, with Inoue as the editor for the novels.

Ryuki, Knight, Zolda, Ouja and Femme are the main Riders. Imperer, Raia and Scissors are mentioned but die literally immediately and their human forms are unnamed. Shinji kills Imperer in the novel and doesn't regret it. Shinji is a jack of all trades, Ren and Yui are friends with benefits. Even if that is the case, he is still with Eri. Kitaoka has Alzheimer's disease while his "butler", Goro has his mouth sown shut with a golden wire and can't speak.

Unlike the original TV series and movies, they don't use cards to transform. They transform with an emblem in front of a mirror and jump straight into the Mirror World. Apart from everything is mirrored, there is no sound in the Mirror World. In the novel, they are not called Masked Riders, but instead they are called Masked Contractors. Asakura is said to be the embodiment of your standard Toshiki Inoue written jerks.

Just like in the movie, Femme asked Shinji to pretend to be her boyfriend, they end up dating for real and have sex. Lastly, the novel still follows the same Battle Royale struture with the ending nearly identical to the TV series.

Kamen Rider Kuuga Novel Spoilers: New Kuuga Revealed

Some people already have a copy of the Kamen Rider Kuuga novel and below are some spoilers about it. The novel is written by Naruhisa Arakawa and was released today, June 28th.

Spoiler alert! Read at your own risk!

Taking place 13 years after the end of the series, the novel is about Ichijou and the police force investigating a mysterious white warrior and the return of the Grongi tribe. Godai is also in the movie and fight as Kuuga for one page. He did a lot more stuff out of suit.

Mika Natsume as seen in the TV series

The novel features the return of Ra-Baruba-De aka Rose-Tattooed Woman and with her are three new Grongis. Fighting them is a the white warrior, a prototype Kuuga. The man behind the mask is Mika Natsume, Jean's former assistant.

Mika uses a prototype Arcle to transform into this new Kuuga. The difference of this belt to the Arcle is that it lack the Amadam, the gem found in the center of the Arcle. Because of this, it is easier for its wearer to go berserk and the previous wearer went crazy and the belt was sealed inside the Coffin of Darkness.

The original Kuuga with the Arcle. Imagine it without the stone in the middle for the image of the prototype Arcle.

Mika's father was of the scientists who discovered the prototype Arcle and has notes about it in his research. Mika finds this 10 years after the end of the show. After sighting a few Grongi, she goes to the ruins and unearth the prototype Arcle and transform into a white Kuuga with red eyes.

She fights an unnamed Grongi in her white form, but it's killed by a different Grongi before she can finish it off. She later fights a Jellyfish Grongi and defeats it with a Rider Kick and is shocked with the explosion she caused. She later fights a Go lion and goes from white to black out of rage.

Kamen Rider Kuuga Growing Form aka a white Kuuga.

The form's eyes flashes between red and black, then completely black when she loses control to it. To put it simply, she is basically Kuuga in appearance with a few minor differences such as she has smaller horns. She uses steel frames and changes them into cannons, she shoots a huge beam out of Tokyo Tower. Godai shows up and stops her. The novel ends with the belt still in her.

Aside from the new Kuuga, there is also the new Beat Chaser 3000, which Godai sticks the Gouram on it while fighting Mika. The police also developed new weapons to fight the Grongi and with it, Ichijou kills one of them. Lastly, the Rose-Tattooed Woman escapes at the end of the novel.

Kamen Rider Hibiki Novel Spoilers

With the release of the Kamen Rider Hibiki novel last May 23, 2ch users posted their comments about it, which is basically spoilers for the said novel.

But before proceeding to the spoilers, the novel takes place in the Edo Era wherein Hibiki meets Henshin Ninja Arashi. The novel is written by Kamen Rider Hibiki TV series head writer Tsuyoshi Kida.

Spoiler alert! Read at your own risk!

Hibiki is 23 years old and Ibuki is 15. Other Oni that appeared in the TV show like Zanki and Todoroki didn't appear in the novel. In addition, the novel features a lot of new Oni.

Set sometime during Edo era, more or less a parallel re-imagining of the movie. Arashi and Hibiki's world is the same world, so it's not some sort dimensional crossover type of thing. Hayate's friends and allies appear as well. It's more Arashi than Hibiki, it's recommended that you watch Arashi before reading this. You don't really need to have watched Hibiki to understand the Hibiki parts.

There's a short part that connects to present time, but has nothing to do with Asumu or Hibiki. Doesn't really have much to do with the show for that matter either. Lastly, the Oni Armor (seen on the right) does appear and it's connected to Arashi.
