Travelers: Dimension Police DVD Release Confirmed

CDJapan is now taking pre-orders for the DVD release of Travelers: Dimension Police. The said movie stars Nao Nagasawa (Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger) and Ayumi Kinoshita (Special Police Dekaranger).

This movie, lasting for 82 minutes is created by Japanese and Taiwanese creators. The movie is directed by Koichi Sakamoto (Power Rangers, Kamen Rider Fourze) with mecha designs by Takeshi Koike (Animatrix "World Record" director).

For its first press release, it comes with a special case and a 12-page liner notes. But for those who missed the first press release, the DVD contains English subtitles, a "making-of" video, event footage and audio commentary by Koichi Sakamoto, Nao Nagasawa and Ayumi Kinoshita.

Travelers: Dimension Police costs 4,700 yen and is set to be released this August 23.

Pursuing dimensional criminals, policewoman Ai (Nagasawa) travels to the "Retroworld" and encounters her former partner, Yui (Kinoshita). As it seems Yui is now with the dimensional terrorists, they hold the guns against each other.

Diverse Japan posted more info and images from the upcoming Koichi Sakamoto directed flick staring Nao Nagasawa (Ninpu Sentai Hurricaneger) and Ayumi Kinoshita (Special Police Dekaranger) called "Travelers: Dimension Police". The movie will receive a limited one week screening starting this April 13th.

Ten years have passed since the discovery of inter-cosmic travel. The existence of three parallel worlds has been confirmed. What happens in one cosmos, even the slightest incident, can create a "butterfly effect" that influences events in the other worlds. In response to these discoveries, the Dimension Police and Space Guardian Academy are formed.

The beautiful female investigator Ai (Nagasawa) is the Space Guardian Academy's top agent. Along with her trusted android partner, Bridge, she has been assigned to eliminate the inter-cosmic terrorist group DOUBT. Amidst the struggle, Ai finds herself challenged like she never has been before when allies become enemies, enemies become allies, and the mastermind behind the evil plot is revealed.

The surprises never end in this sexy, action-packed sci-fi adventure. Who is behind DOUBT and what do they have planned? Will Ai be able to save the multi-verse from those who wish to conquer it?

Also staring in this movie are Yuuko Takayama (Kamen Rider Wizard, Kamen Rider Chou Den-O Episode Blue), Kenji Ebisawa (Engine Sentai Go-Onger), Kouhei Yamamoto (Ninpuu Sentai Hurricanger) and Kentaro Shimazu (Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger).

The movie is written by Hayashi Sotaro (Ultraman Max), mecha design by Takeshi Koike (Animatrix "World Record" director), design concepts by Toshiyuki Kimura (Casshern), character designs by Yasushi Nirasawa (Final Fantasy: Spirits Within), costume design team led by Dango Takeda (Kamen Rider, Gantz); and bike design by Atsushi Takeuchi (Ghost in the Shell).

Travelers will have a running time of 83 minutes (1 hour, 23 minutes) and promises to be an "exciting adventure incorporating thrilling action sequences where both Nagasawa and Konishita get to demonstrate their onscreen fighting prowess, whilst looking ultra-sexy, together for the first time."

Ayumi Kinoshita, Just Got Married

Ayumi Kinoshita, best known for her role as Marika "Jasmine" Reimon aka DekaYellow in Special Police Dekaranger and Aki Izayoi in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's just got married to one lucky 38-year-old designer running a clothing company. The name of this lucky man was never revealed in public.

They got married yesterday before Ms. Kinoshita celebrated her 30th birthday. They got to know each other through their acquaintance and have been seeing for two years.

Kinoshita says "I decided to marry him from the very beginning. I was attracted by his gentle heart and kindness caring for other people." She is going to continue her career as an actress. She hope to have wedding ceremony if possible but not planning yet.
