The Legend of Korra Book 2: Spirits Final Trailer
Before The Legend of Korra's 2nd season will premiere this Friday in the U.S. in a special one-hour event, a new trailer for the show was posted recently.
Taking place 6 months after the end of Book 1: Air, a lot has changed to the new Team Avatar. In Book 2: Spirits, Avatar Korra and her friends must stop the Dark Spirits attacking the Southern Water Tribe. Also seen in the trailer, she gets more in touch with her spiritual side and her past lives.
As seen in the trailer, she meets the first Avatar, Avatar Wan and learns the origins of the Avatar Cycle.

The Legend of Korra Book 2: Spirits Trailer
Here's the trailer for The Legend of Korra Book 2: Spirits that is set to premiere this September on Nickelodeon. The trailer features various scenes in the upcoming season, including some scenes featuring the first Avatar, Wan.
Avatar Wan is voiced by Walking Dead star Steven Yuen and will appear in the two episodes titled "Beginnings 1 & 2". Those episodes take place 10,000 years before Korra's time and follows Wan as he tries to bring balance between mankind and the spirits.
Above is a clip coming from the season's first episode called "Rebel Spirit". The episode takes place six months after the end of Book 1: Air and features what happened to Team Avatar after they defeated Amon. We learned that Bolin is the only one managing the Fire Ferrets, Mako is now a police officer, Asami is the president of Future Industries and Korra is abusing her Avatar State just to win a race.

The Legend of Korra to Feature the Very First Avatar, Avatar Wan
Wired reports that Steven Yeun (Walking Dead) will play the role of Wan, the first Avatar in existence in The Legend of Korra Book 2: Spirits that will premiere later this year.
Wan will appear in the two episodes titled "Beginnings 1 & 2". His story takes place 10,000 years before Korra's time and follows a teenage explorer and skilled bender as he tries to bring balance between mankind and the spirits, a quest that ultimately leads to becoming the first Avatar.
Unlike other episodes of The Legend of Korra, the show's creative team drew inspiration from "ancient and traditional East Asian ink wash paintings and woodblock prints for the environments, color palettes, and stylizations of the elements."
