It was announced in "Kanjani8 LIVE TOUR JUKE BOX" concert that Kanjani8's 2012 film, Eight Ranger will have a sequel.
The Eight Rangers are composed of: Black (Yu Yokoyama), Red (Subaru Shibutani), Nasu (Shingo Murakami), Orange (Ryuhei Maruyama), Blue (Shota Yasuda), Yellow (Ryo Nishikido) and Green (Tadayoshi Okura). These heroes fight the evil Dark Crusade and protect the devastated Eight City.
The sequel is directed by Yukihiko Tsutsumi, who also worked on the first movie, the story is currently on the works. Filming begins on February 2014 and is set to premiere in Summer 2014.
