The issue of CoroCoro magazine revealed new information about Pokémon X and Pokémon Y and after weeks of speculating how Chespin, Fennekin and Froakie's middle evolutions will look like, this issue finally revealed it!
Chespin's evolution is Quilladin, a pure Grass-type Pokémon who knows Mud Shot. Next is Fennekin's evolution, Braixen, a pure Fire-type Pokémon and knows Psycho Cut. Lastly is Froakie's middle evolution, Frogadier, a pure Water-type Pokémon and knows Bounce.
Just like the past games, this game will also feature two new fossil Pokémon! First is Tyrunt, a Rock/Dragon-type Pokémon that looks like a T-Rex. It has the ability called "Hard Jaw", which increases attack power of biting moves. It knows the move called Crunch.
Next is Amaura, a Rock/Ice-type Pokémon that looks like a Diplodocus. It has the ability called "Freeze Skin", which turns Normal-type moves into Ice-type movies and raises their power. It knows the move called Aurora Beam.
Next are some more new Pokémon, first is Furfrou. This dog is Normal-type Pokémon that has the ability called "Fure Coat", which reduces Physical Damage. In addition, you can also customize its appearance.
Meowstic is a Psychic-type Pokémon that looks like a cat and comes in two forms depending its gender. The male is on the right, while the female is on the left in the third picture below. In addition, its moves varies by gender. The male's moves is more of a supporter while the female is more of an attacker. The female Nyaonikusu knows Extrasensory and male knowing Miracle Eye. It has Keen Eye or Infiltrator.
Next is Mewtwo having two Mega Evolutions in the game. The Mega Mewtwo that was first revealed is Mega Mewtwo Y and the recently revealed Mega Mewtwo is Mega Mewtwo X. This Mega Mewtwo is a Psychic/Fighting-type and has the ability called "Steadfast". For Mewtwo to transform into either forms, it needs an item called Mewtwonite X or Mewtwonite Y.
Next is Mega Garchomp who has the ability called "Sandforce". Lastly are some new info about the Fairy-type. Fairy type moves are Super Effective on Fighting, Dark and Dragon and not effective on Fire, Poison or Steel. It also states that it is weak to Poison and Steel while resists Fighting, Dark and Bug and is immune to Dragon.
