The 2013 U.S. Pokémon National Championships, the largest Pokémon U.S. Nationals event ever recorded, concluded last July 7th.
Over 3,000 attendees, including 2,100 competitors from the three different age groups (Juniors, Seniors, and Masters), traveled from all over the country to Indianapolis, Indiana to compete in the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) and Video Game events. The top four finalist in each division received a travel award for the 2013 Pokémon World Championships this August in Vancouver, Canada.

- Senior Division (born from 1998 to 2001): Paul Chua, playing with Politoed, Kingdra, Cresselia, Scrafty, Metagross, Thundurus
- Masters Division (Born 1997 or earlier): Gavin Michaels, playing with Ludicolo, Amoonguss, Landorus, Metagross, Volcarona, and Tyranitar
