2014 Doraemon Anime Film 2nd Trailer


Here's the trailer of the 2014 Doraemon film entitled "Doraemon the Movie: New Nobita's Great Demon ~Peko and the Exploration Party of Five~". This film will premiere this March 8th.


A remake of the 1982 Doraemon film Doraemon: Nobita's Great Demon, which is written by series creator Fujiko F. Fujio; this film is about the adventures of Nobita and friends in some unexplored land to help a dog prince named Peko return to his kingdom.

The movie is directed by Shinnosuke Yakuwa and is written by Higashi Shimizu.

Kis-My-Ft2 to Perform 2014 Doraemon Anime Film OST


Kis-My-Ft2 will perform one of the songs of the upcoming Doraemon movie entitled " Doraemon the Movie: New Nobita's Great Demon ~Peko and the Exploration Party of Five~". The movie will premiere this March 8th.

The song entitled "Hikari no Signal", the single including their new song will be released next spring. As for the Doraemon movie, it's a remake of the 1982 Doraemon OVA. The movie is about Nobita's adventure in an unexplored region together with his friends and a cute dog named Peko.

Stand By Me Doraemon CGI Film First Teaser Trailer


The first teaser trailer of the first Doraemon CGI film, Stand By Me Doraemon was posted in the movie's official website. The trailer revealed that this movie is Doraemon's first and final story.


The trailer featured a scene coming from the 6th Doraemon manga volume. The scene is about Doraemon asking Nobita if he is okay without him, which will later lead to his first farewell in the manga.

Stand By Me Doraemon will be released in Summer 2014.

Doraemon to Star in His First 3D CGI Film


Japan's iconic robot cat Doraemon goes 3D in his next feature film, which will be released next summer! Entitled "Stand By Me Doraemon", the film will feature combined CGI with stereoscopic 3D projection.

Takashi Yamazaki (Space Battleship Yamato) and Ryûichi Yagi (Moyashimon 3D CG director) are helming the said project after collaborating on Japan's first feature-length 3D CG anime film, Friends: Mononoke Shima no Naki.

The planning for the film began 3 years ago after the completion of Friends: Mononoke Shima no Naki. Yamazaki said that he film lets you experience in 3D what it would be like to get your hands on Doraemon's gadgets and do whatever you like. Yagi added that the flying scenes with Doraemon's signature Take-Copter are a must-see.

Character modelling took over a year and the staff strived for realism in movement and expressions. Unlike the usual animation process in Japan, the dialogue was first recorded then the staff produced the CG animation to match the voices. Lastly, the film employed the use of miniatures and filmed real objects for the backgrounds.

Nintendo of Taiwan to Release 5 Doraemon Themed Nintendo 3DS


Nintendo of Taiwan will publish Doraemon: Nobita's Number Adventure and localizing it in Traditional Chinese. Aside from the release of the game, they will also release five Doaremon themed Nintendo 3DS!

This contest for the five limited edition Doraremon Nintendo 3DS will only be available in Taiwan, making this one rare item to fans. Doraemon: Nobita's Number Adventure will be released in Taiwan this September 3.

2014 Doraemon Anime Movie Trailer


The trailer of the 2014 Doraemon film was posted in the official Doraemon Movie YouTube channel. The Doraemon the Movie: New Nobita's Great Demon ~Peko and the Exploration Party of Five~ is set to premiere on March 2014.

In this movie, Doraemon and his friends must go on an adventure to help a dog prince return to his kingdom, deep within an unexplored land.


The new movie is a remake of the the Doraemon: Nobita's Great Demon movie. The movie was written by Doraemon co-creator Fujiko F. Fujio. This movie also commemorates the 80th birthday of Fujio.

This movie is directed by Shinnosuke Yakuwa and written by Higashi Shimizu.

Doraemon TV Anime to Use Perfume's Latest Single as Ending Theme


Perfume's latest single, "Mirai no Museum" will be used as the ending theme of the Doraemon anime starting with its January 11th broadcast.

The song is also the theme song of the upcoming Doraemon movie entitled, "Doraemon the Movie: Nobita's Secret Gadget Museum". It's described as a pop tune that expresses the magical worldview of the movie.

The song will be released as the girls' first single of 2013 in spring.

Doraemon 2013 Movie Full Length Trailer


The full length trailer of next year's Doraemon movie entitled, "Doraemon the Movie: Nobita's Secret Gadget Museum" has surfaced online! The trailer features Perfume's latest single called "Mirai no Museum".


In the film, a mysterious entity steals the bell that Doraemon, the robot cat from the future, wears around his neck. Doraemon, his hapless owner Nobita, and their friends track down the thief and arrive at a magnificent secret gadget museum.

Doraemon the Movie: Nobita's Secret Gadget Museum is directed by Yukiyo Teramoto and is scheduled to open in theaters on March 9, 2013.

Perfume to Perform 2013 Doraemon Movie Theme


Japanese techonopop trio Perfume announced that they will perform the theme song of next year's Doraemon movie entitled "Doraemon the Movie: Nobita's Secret Gadget Museum". The song entitled, "Mirai no Museum", it will be sold as the group's first single of 2013 next spring.

The announcement was made last November 24 at the final performance of Perfume's Asia tour in Singapore. During the encore, the girls took the stage together with Doraemon and announced this news to their fans.

Dragon Ball Tops World Class Manga and Anime Polls

Dragon Ball
Market research firm Oricon conducted a scientific survey asking respondents to name the real "World Class Manga and Anime". Taking the top is no other than the adventure manga, Dragon Ball!

Dragon Ball takes the top spot of the survey ranking, still popular to fans, in Japan and around the world, even after it ended a decade and a half ago. It was the flagship of Shonen Jump during its Golden Era.


Running next to Dragon Ball is the current flagship of Shonen Jump, the pirate adventure manga One Piece, and children's manga Doraemon. Here's full list of the "Top 10 World Class Manga/Anime" polls:

Doraemon 2013 Film Trailer Streamed

The official website for the Doraemon anime films had updated with the first trailer for the upcoming 2013 film “Doraemon the Movie: Nobita's Secret Gadget Museum.” The film opens this March.


The movie centers around a mysterious entity who steals the bell that Doraemon wears around his neck. Doraemon, Nobita, and their friends track down the thief and arrive at a magnificent secret gadget museum.

Toyota Streams 7th Doraemon Live CM

7th Live-Action Doraemon Toyota CM
Nobita, Doraemon and the rest of the gang are back in the latest live-action Toyota Doraemon commercial! In this ad, Nobita and friends travels back in time when Japan previously hosted the Olympics!

The series of CMs star Satoshi Tsumabuki as Nobita, Naoya Ogawa as Gian, Tomohisa Yamashita as Suneo, Asami Mizukawa as Shizuka, and international film star Jean Reno as Doraemon.


The gang are watching this year's London Olympics, when Nobita observes that Tokyo once hosted the Olympics. Doraemon offers the services of his time machine. Olympic gymnast Kohei Uchimura makes a cameo as Nobita's former classmate Dekisugi.

Toyota Releases 6th Doraemon Live CM
Toyota Motors began streaming their sixth live action Doraemon advertisement. Like the five previous ads this depicts the classic characters of the children's manga Doraemon, two decades after they grow up.

The series of CMs star Satoshi Tsumabuki as Nobita, Naoya Ogawa as Gian, Tomohisa Yamashita as Suneo, Asami Mizukawa as Shizuka, and international film star Jean Reno as Doraemon.


In the advertisement, Gian now runs his very own Gian Supermarket. Needing a car to transport what Nobita bought, Suneo comes to the rescue. But later he knew that it's only a remote control car. Nobita went to Doraemon who handed him the "Small Light."
