The official website for the biology manga series, Moyashimon began streaming the second 90-second promotional video for the the upcoming second anime adaptation, “Moyashimon Returns.”
Moyashimon is the story of the life of Tadayasu Sawaki, a first-year college student at an agricultural university, who has the unique ability to see and communicate with micro-organisms, germs and bacteria.
Yuichiro Yano is returning to direct the series and Natsuko Takahashi is again in charge of the series composition. Moyashimon Returns will run on Thursdays at 24:45 (effectively on Fridays at 12:45 a.m.) on Fuji TV's noitaminA block.
Furthermore, it has been revealed that Japanese duo ClariS (Oreimo, Madoka Magica, Nisemonogatari) will be singing the anime's opening theme “Wake Up”, with ending theme “Recently” done by Hiiragi (Natsume Yujin-cho).
