Code Geass: Akito the Exiled OVA First 10-Minutes Streamed
The official website of the Code Geass anime series began streaming the first ten minutes of the first episode of Code Geass GAIDEN: Akito the Exiled OVA series, which premiered last weekend.



Hyuga Akito is an Eleven belonging to the EU Army. During year 2017, in the hellish European battlefront, he takes up a military operation with 5% survival rate as a soldier who has lost his hometown.

Kazuki Akane (The Vision of Escaflowne, Noein - to your other self) will direct the spin-off series, with Shigeru Morita (Mobile Suit Gundam Seed, Blood+) and Takahiro Kimura once again adapting CLAMP's original character designs for animation, and mechanical Knightmare units designs by Akira Yasuda.

Kamen Rider Fourze CLIMAX EPISODE DC Promo Streamed [Updated]

Kamen Rider Fourze Cosmic States Debut to get Dire8ctor's Cut Release
TOEI's official YouTube channel began streaming the promotional video for the upcoming release of “Kamen Rider Fourze CLIMAX EPISODE 31-32 Director's Cut” this October. This also confirms eight new scenes and an original ending.


Additional scenes are as follows:
  • Aries finally finding Meteor,
  • The death and resurrection of Gentaro,
  • Advent of Cosmic States,
  • Aries and Hayami's exchange on top of the school building,
  • Tachibana's recourse not to revive Gentaro,
  • An intimate moment with Meteor regretting that he betrayed his friends, and
  • An original ending
A collection of unreleased scenes and a commentary video featuring Souta Fukushi, actor for Gentaro Kisaragi, and director Koichi Sakamoto were also included.

The director's cut release will feature the episodes “The Kingdom of Pleiades” and “The Super Cosmic Sword,” which centers around the Aries Zodiart arc, Ryusei's change of heart, and the debut of Fourze Cosmic States.

“Kamen Rider Fourze CLIMAX EPISODE 31-32 Director's Cut” will be released on both DVD and Blu-Ray this October 21st.

Here is the special preview for the upcoming Kamen Rider Fourze and Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters THE MOVIE! Seen in the promo are the Ultimate Form XVII and the new Power Dizers.

In Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters the Movie: Protect the Tokyo Enetower!, Vagrass is now targeting the Tokyo Enetower. Its safety is now in the hands of the Go-Busters and the new Buster Machine, FS-0O Frog.


On Kamen Rider Fourze the Movie: It's Space Time, Everyone!, the evil Space Ironmen threatens Earth with the use of the XVII One Seven Formation. The Kamen Rider Club must travel to space and join forces with the space technology development organization OSTO Legacy to defeat them.

The double-billed movies premiered this August 4th, which debuts at the top of Japan Box Office, earning 254,172,750 yen.

Dragon Ball 2013 Film Full Teaser Posted

Finally, a little update on the upcoming Dragon Ball Z anime film! The official website began streaming the movie's full teaser. Along with that, an English page was opened for international visitors.

The teaser was similar to the one that aired from morning show Mezamashi Terebi, difference is, this time, it is now of high quality.


The new film will took place during the manga's "lost decade", after the final battle against Majin-Buu (Chapter 517: A Happy Ending... And Then...), and before the 10 year timeskip (Chapter 518: 10 Years After). The film is produced by Fox International Productions Japan Shueisha, Fuji TV, Toei Animation, Bandai, and Bandai Namco Games.

According to reports, the Dragonball2013.com already received hits from 178 countries, since opening last July! The top country visiting the website after Japan was the USA followed by Brazil, Mexico, France, Chile, Argentina, Peru, Spain, and the United Kingdom!

Also present in the site is the English translation of author Akira Toriyama's original message from Weekly Shonen Jump:


The film will be directed by Masahiro Hosoda (Dragon Ball Z episode director) at TOEI, and written by Yuusuke Watanabe (20th Century Boys, Gantz), with Tadayoshi Yamamuro (Dragon Ball: The Path to Power, Beet the Vandel Buster) acting as the lead animation director.

The new Dragon Ball Z film will be slated for March 30th, 2013 release. Still no word for an international release.

Fairy Tail the Movie: Maiden of the Phoenix Special Preview


Here is the special opening of the magic-themed anime, Fairy Tail, featuring the scenes from the upcoming film, “Fairy Tail the Movie: The Maiden of the Phoenix,” opening this August 18th in Japan.


“Fairy Tail the Movie: The Maiden of the Phoenix” revolves around a mysterious girl named Éclair, who is suffering from a partial memory loss. She must deliver two Phoenix Stones somewhere, which may cause the collapse of the magical world. Natsu, Lucy, and the rest of the Fairy Tail guild are caught up in the intrigue.

Original author Hiro Mashima, is in charge of story planning and visual design for the film, as well as drafting the guest character designs and image concept art. Director Masaya Fujimori (You Are Umasou), and scriptwriter Masashi Sogo (Fairy Tail, Bleach, Rurouni Kenshin) are included in the project.

Dragon Ball Tops World Class Manga and Anime Polls

Market research firm Oricon conducted a scientific survey asking respondents to name the real "World Class Manga and Anime". Taking the top is no other than the adventure manga, Dragon Ball!

Dragon Ball takes the top spot of the survey ranking, still popular to fans, in Japan and around the world, even after it ended a decade and a half ago. It was the flagship of Shonen Jump during its Golden Era.

AKB48's NO NAME Debut Single, Over 47,000 Copies Sold

It has been revealed that idol group AKB48's new sub-unit NO NAME's debut single “Kibou ni Tsuite” have sold over 47,000 copies to debut at #3 on Oricon's singles ranking chart for the week of July 30th to August 5th.

NO NAME is composed of Mayu Watanabe, Sayaka Nakaya, Amina Satō, Haruka Ishida, Sumire Satō, Karen Iwata, Kumi Yagami, Sawako Hata, and Mao Mita — the anime series' nine lead voice actresses.
