Sonic the Hedgehog Movie Domains Registered

Internet domain names for a Sonic the Hedgehog movie were registered in the United States. These domains currently have no websites in it.

The domains are: sonicthehedgehog-movie.com, sonicthehedgehog-movie.net and sonicthehedgehogmovie.net; as of this writing, we have no idea if this new Sonic movie is an animated feature film or a live-action film.

This isn't the first time America produced a cartoon based on Sega's blue mascot, the video game series already spawned four cartoon shows, including Sonic Boom, which will debut on Cartoon Network (U.S.) next autumn.

Classic Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis Game Now Ported to the 3DS

Sega revealed that the classic Sega Genesis (Sega Megadrive in Japan) game, Sonic the Hedgehog will be available for the first time in stereoscopic 3D for the Nintendo 3DS!

The new version has additional features, which includes a spin dash move, mid-game saves, the option to skip to any stage or act freely, and the choice to play the Japanese or overseas version (with slightly different layouts and bonuses).

The new version takes advantage of the stereoscopic display to allow players to recreate the rounded, bulged screen of a old CRT television. In short, it is still the same classic Genesis game... in 3D. As of this writing, there are no plans for an overseas release.
