Famitsu Lists Top 100 Best Selling Games for the 21st Century


Famitsu revealed the list of the top 100 best-selling games in Japan for the 21st century. The facts of the list compiled info from January 1, 2001 to September 29, 2013.

The list does not include combined re-releases or downloads bought directly via PlayStaiton Network, eShop or Xbox Live, but does include download cards sold and copies bundled with hardware.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure PS3 Game Current DLC Joestars Trailer


Here's the 8th trailer for the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle game for the PS3. The trailer features the two additional DLC characters in the form of Lisa Lisa and old Joseph Joestar.

The new DLC features Lisa Lisa and her Ripple abilities as well as an old Joseph Joestar with his Stand, Hermit Purple. The game is also offering 128 different "customize medals" for updating your characters' action sequences and costumes.


Additional DLC characters are half price off during the current campaign. Both characters will be available this September 26th. In addition, the trailer also features Part VI's Narciso Anasui with his Stand, Diver Down, Part III's Vanilla Ice with his Stand, Cream and Baoh. The trailer didn't reveal the release dates for these DLC characters.

PlayStation Vita TV Asian Release Date Announced


The PlayStation Vita TV will be soon available in Asian regions this January 2014! Sadly, there are still no plans for a North American and European release.

This new game system will allow users to the PS Vita games, download PSP and PsOne Classics games, and access various video and web services. In addition, the system will be able to connect remotely to the PS4, which allows wireless gameplay.

PlayStation 4 Asian Release Date Announced


For those who are eager to get their hands on the new PlayStation 4 and is living in Asian territories outside Japan, here's some good news. The console will be available in Asia this December!

The countries who will get the new PS4 this December are: Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan. The launch titles for the PS4's Asian release are: Watch Dogs, Assassins Creed IV, and Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends (Chinese version).

The PlayStation 4 will be available in Japan this February 2014 and in the US during the Holiday season.

Sony CEO: No Plans for a PlayStation Vita TV Western Release Yet


In a roundtable press discussion, Sony Computer Entertainment CEO Andres House revealed that there are no plans yet to bring the new PlayStation Vita TV to the U.S. and European markets.

In the discussion, he revealed that the game will be released in Japan this November 14 first because there is no leading company in Japan's video streaming market. Other planned countries include China, South Korea and etc.

PlayStation Vita TV Announced


Sony Entertainment Japan announced that they will release a new game system called the PlayStation Vita TV this November 14 and it will costs 9,954 yen (about US$100) including tax.

Just like what the name suggest, this new game system will allow users to the PS Vita games, download PSP and PlayStation games, and access various video and web services. In addition, the system will be able to connect remotely to the PS4, which allows wireless gameplay.


The PlayStation Vita TV is a small box that's 6.5 cm x 10.5 cm x 1.36 cm in size and comes with a wireless DualShock 3 controller. PS Vita games can be placed directly into the system, and the system can connect to the television via its HDMI port and to the controller via its USB port. A standby mode is available to save energy.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure All Star Battle PS3 Game Story Mode Walkthrough Video


Now that JoJo's Bizarre Adventure All Star Battle is now available in the market, here's a walkthrough of the game's Story Mode made by ShonenGameZ.


The Story Mode is divided into eight parts based on the manga/anime's story arcs, namely: Phantom Blood, Battle Tendency, Stardust Crusaders, Diamond is unbreakable, Vento Aureo, Stone Ocean, Steel Ball Run and JoJolion. Since the game is limited to its current character roster, some important battles from the original source material are not recreated in the game.

Sony's Third Party Production Aims to Bring More Games to the PlayStation


Sony announced a new department for the PlayStation called "Third Party Production". The job of this new department is to work closely with publishers to bring their games to Sony platforms.

What to expect in this new department are new IP's, new ports and localized products as well new support to their partners. The first project of the department is a port of Borderlands 2 for the Vita. Sony will be publishing the game themselves.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure PS3 Game Current DLC Characters Trailer


Here's the 7th trailer for the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle game for the PS3. The trailer features the currently revealed DLC characters for the said game.

The trailer features Shigekiyo Yangu aka Shigechi (or Fatty) with his Stand, Harvest and Yoshikage Kira with his Stand, Killer Queen. Both characters are now available for download.


Also featured in the trailer is Part III's Iggy with his Stand, The Fool and Part V's Panacotta Fugo with his Stand, Purple Haze. Both DLC characters cost 600 yen and will be available starting this September 25th.

Lastly, the trailer revealed that one of Hirohiko Araki's earlier work, Baoh will also appear in the game as a DLC character.

Part III's Iggy & Part V's Fugo Are DLC Characters in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure PS3 Game


The latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump revealed more DLC news for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle game for the PS3. This time around one beloved Part III character and another member of Buccellati's Passione gang joins the fighting game.

Part III: Stardust Crusaders' lovable dog, Iggy is confirmed to be playable in the game. His Stand, The Fool has the ability to manipulate sand and dust particles and can use it for both offense and of course, to fool people.

Last but not the least is Pannacotta Fugo from Part V: Vento Aureo. A member of Buccellati's group, his Stand called Purple Haze has the ability to create flesh eating virus and kills anyone on site and that includes allies or enemies.

Price of the DLC as well as its released is still unknown as of this writing.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure PS3 Game Receives Over 500,000 Pre-Orders!


Namco Bandai Games announced that the pre-orders for the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure All-Star Battle game for the PS3 has over 500,000 pre-orders!

The upcoming fighting game will feature characters from Hirohiko Araki's popular JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga series. The game's first copies both include a Hayato Kawajiri memo pad and a download code for the Yoshikage Kira character. The new game will be available starting this August 29.

PlayStation 4 Release Dates Announced


The release dates of Sony's next gen console, the PlayStation 4 is finally revealed! This new console was planned for a holiday 2013 release.

Part IV's Shigechi is a DLC Character in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure PS3 Game


The first paid DLC for the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle game for the PS3 is finally revealed! He is no other than Shigekiyo Yangu or better known as Shigechi or Fatty by Josuke and co.

Shigechi first appeared in Part IV: Diamond is Unbreakable and played an important part in the manga. His Stand is the small and very useful Harvest.

This paid DLC will be released this August 29th and costs 600 yen.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure All-Star Battle 6th PS3 Game Trailer


Here's the 6th trailer for the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle game for the PS3. The new trailer features the battles of the Joestar family to the main villains of their respective story arcs.


The trailer features the previously four revealed additional villains in the game. Namely Dio Brando (Part I), Yoshikage Kira as Kosaku Kawajiri (Part IV), Fr. Enrico Pucci (Part VI) and Pres. Funny Valentine (Part VII).

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle will be released this August 29th and comes in regular and limited editions.

Kosaku Kawajiri, Funny Valentine Playable in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure PS3 Game


The latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump confirmed two more playable characters in the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle PS3 game. The new characters are Kosaku Kawajiri (Part IV) and Funny Valentine (Part VII).

For those people who are not familiar with these characters, Kosaku Kawajiri is the body used by serial killer Yoshikage Kira in the second half of Part IV: Diamond is Unbreakable after Jotaro and co. discovered that he is responsible with the killings. His Stand is Killer Queen.

President Funny Valentine is the main antagonist of Part VII: Steel Ball Run. Determined to find the corpse of an unnamed Saint, he funds Stephen Steel's Steel Ball Run race. His Stand is Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap (D4C).

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle will be released this August 29th and comes in regular and limited editions.

Dio Brando (Part I), Fr. Enrico Pucci to Appear in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure PS3 Game as Bosses!


The 31st issue of this year's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed that Dio Brando (Part I) and Fr. Enrico Pucci (Part VI) are part of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle game for the PS3 as bosses.


Part I Dio Brando's appearance is not similar to his appearance in the recent anime. In addition, Pucci is seen with his three Stands, namely: Whitesnake, C-MOON and Stairway to Heaven (Made in Heaven). It is still unknown if these two will be unlockable as playable characters in the game.

Sony's PlayStation 4 Unveiled in E3 2013


First teasing us the new DualShock 4 controller, Sony has finally unveiled the new PlayStation 4 in this year's E3... and it looks brilliant. Just watch the video below and make your own thoughts about it.


The new PlayStation 4 has over 140 titles being developed by first party and third part developers. In addition to that, there are no restrictions when it comes to used games (disc-based) as you can lend it, trade it or even sell it to your friend. What's more, there is no need to be connected online just to play single player games or the need for any kind of authentication.

But for those players who like online play, they need a PlayStation Plus account. If you previously have a PlayStation Plus account on your PS3, it will be carried over to the PS4.


Lastly, the console packages comes with the following: 8GB of memory, a 500GB hard drive, a Blu-ray Disc drive, USB 3.0, Ethernet and 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, a wireless DualShock 4 controller, monoaural headet, electric power cord, HDMI cable, and a USB cable. The PlayStation 4 will be available in the US for costs $399 and it will be released just in time for the Holidays. Pre-orders for the PS4 are now open in Amazon.

Final Fantasy Versus XIII is Now Final Fantasy XV


In this year's E3, Sony revealed that Final Fantasy Versus XIII is still alive and will head to the PlayStation 4 as Final Fantasy XV! In addition, a new gameplay trailer for Final Fantasy XV was seen in the said press conference.


Final Fantasy Versus XIII was first announced in E3 2006 as part of Final Fantasy XIII's series of games called Fabula Nova Crystallis: Final Fantasy. Conceptualized as an original story taking place in the Final Fantasy XIII universe, development for the said game lasted for almost 6 years.
