Mega Man X is a Playable Costume in Dead Rising 3

Polygon reported that players can unlock Mega Man X as a playable costume in Dead Rising 3 for the Xbox One!


The Mega Man X costume is based on his First Armor in Mega Man X for the SNES. As seen in the trailer, he can use the X Buster to shoot enemy zombies and perform a powerful charged shot.

Dead Rising 3 will be released this November 22 for the Xbox One.

Mega Man X to Appear in Archie Comics' Mega Man #34

Starting in Mega Man #34, Archie Comics' Mega Man comic book series will finally start exploring the Mega Man X universe!

IGN recently had a chat with the men behind the new Mega Man X comic, which will be published as a back-up feature in the pages of the Mega Man comic. The men responsible for this are Archie's Executive Director of Editorial Paul Kaminski, writer Ian Flynn and art by Patrick "Spaz" Spaziante.

Flynn revealed that the world of Mega Man X is "a bit darker, more complex, and tackles some deeper questions." In addition, the comic book takes place months before the first game, before the Sigma's revolution happened.

Since this is just a back-up feature to the regular Mega Man comic, the creators revealed that if there is support for the series, they will start making a proper Mega Man X book.

Mega Man X will appear in Mega Man #34, which will be released this February 2014 and Mega Man #35.

MM25: Mega Man & Mega Man X Official Complete Works Art Book Revealed

Udon Entertainment will publish an art book called "MM25: Mega Man & Mega Man X Official Complete Works" in North America this month. This book has a total of 432 pages and features an in-depth chronicle of the franchise's 25 years.

The art book features concept designs, sketches, rare pin-ups, tribute art and English translated production notes, creator comments, and three all-new exclusive interviews with the creators.


A limited hardcover edition of the book will be first sold in this year's San Diego Comic Con, which will happen from July 17th to the 21st. The exclusive hardcover edition comes with a hardcover binding, a deluxe blue laser foil dust jacket, and special "schematic design" varnishing under the dust jacket.

It will be sold at the Udon Entertainment's booth #4529 for $100. But in case you didn't have the chance to buy it, it will be available from July 17th onward for $100.
