With only one Guardian Lost Stone left, our heroes finally learned its location. To make things more interesting, it is located in Bragigas' burial place, which is described by Torin as hell. Can our heroes retrieve the stone and revive Bragigas or will Deboth get the stone first?
The episode started by giving us a back story about Bragigas and how it is related to Deboth's death, the death of the Guardians and how Bragigas ended up getting sealed. The story is really good, what's great about it is that it's more show than tell, the tell part is just there for the sake of exposition but we see the destruction. Seeing a lot of Voltasaurs in action and getting defeated by Dark Species Deboth is quite an incredible sight to see. I know, I kinda sounded like a jerk but the way they show us their defeats is really well done.
Another thing to point out is that we learned that the Guardians themselves are actual giant Voltasaurs, and not just support Beast Batteries and we also see their deaths. Because of this, we learned the origins of the Lost Stones and how it is related to Bragigas. As it turns out, the stones are the amber that protects the fossilized parts of each Guardian is Bragigas' tears. This scene showed us the range of a Voltasaur's emotions that they can even cry for their friends. So emotional that Bragigas is willing to sacrifice his life to get his revenge. Seeing the scene wherein Bragigas is ready to shoot a powerful move called "Gigant Cannon" already gave me a good impression that he is one badass robot dinosaur.
At the end, he died because of his love for his friends and his powerful attack caused Dark Species Deboth to end up becoming some giant tree. The story ends and we are now back to the present, where one Deboth monster is now fishing for the stone. As expected, our heroes ended up fighting the Deboth monster and the generals that aide him in battle! There is nothing much to talk about the fight in this part of the episode, so I'll just skip it here. The only part of this scene that I can talk is the return of King's father as he aides his son in his quest for the stone.
Seeing King's dad again is really fantastic since we see him aide his son fight Dogold and what's more, he helped him fish out the last Lost Stone! It is also this part that we learned why he is travelling; he is searching for the Lost Stones music. To be honest, I am quite bothered why he just left his son just to look for some music, I mean, King is still a little kid and he needs proper adult supervision! But hey, at least King still lives and grew up into one brave man. So brave that he even helped his father pull out the Lost Stone from the hell it is in. In short, the two bonded even for just short period of time.
The two managed to pull out the Lost Stone and it is time to revive Bragigas! Bragigas' revival is one great scene, aside that the lake dried out just to unearth Bragigas, the laser show with the Lost Stones is one cool scene because it looks like the stones are cleaning the fossilized Bragigas until it starts moving. What's more is that the way how Bragigas rise up is slow, making the scene look really majestic and very realistic, if you will base it on how they are depicted in movies. While he is rising up, the 8 Kyoryugers are fighting the MOTW.
Seeing Ramirez and Tessai fight with the rest of the Kyoryugers is one rare sight to see in the show, and I just love that they make the most of it while they are on screen. Since we have these two around, of course, we have a new finisher with the Victory and Maximum Beast Batteries! Since it is basically the same finisher from the previous one with more heads, I guess I should not talk about it.
Now that the MOTW is defeated, it is time for the giant battle! But first, our heroes entered Bragigas and learned that the Spirit Base is inside Bragigas. With that in mind, it is time for Bragigas to transform into Gigant Bragi-Oh! The formation sequence is really stunning; I also love the chanting for this formation, which makes the formation sequence much more epic. As for this formation's overall design, it looks really cool and it screams that this is the ultimate mecha because of its kingly appearance. As for its first fight, it's okay I guess because I have nothing much to say about it.
At the end, the world is once again safe, but it seems that this is not the end of the story arc involving Bragigas and Torin as he is heading somewhere that we don't know with his partner, Bragigas. As for Chaos, even though he didn't get the Lost Stone, turns out that it is not the stone that he is looking for. Based on the appearance of the stone he received, it seems that it has something to do with the Deboth monster that caused Bragigas' demise years ago.
