Sonic the Hedgehog will have a new CG animated TV series, which will premiere this Fall 2014! Called "Sonic Boom", this series is aimed at children ages 6-11 years old.

Described as a "character-driven comedy", the series is about the adventures of Sonic and Tails and their battles with Dr. Eggman. Other characters that will appear in the new animated series are Knuckles and Amy Rose alongside with other old and new characters.

Sonic Team's Takashi Iizuka is overseeing the series to ensure that it stays true to the Sonic characters and universe.
